Effect: The users emits a small burst of smoke from the from the body (arms, chest, back, head, or legs) as a means to cushion a fall or impact with a solid force. This reduces the damage by a single rank. This only works when the user is about to collide with a solid surface. Being punched or struck by a magic force does not protect them from this. Basically this spell is a method of catching ones self.

Effect: The user spews forth a small stream of smoke at a targeted area (mostly eyes or directly into the mouth) in order to impair vision temporarily (unable to see) or cause temporary disorientation (coughing and so on). The smoke travels 15mph in a swift, single burst at the target. The stream itself has a diameter of 4ins and comes out like water would from a water hose.

It's a debuff, not offensive. debuff = increase a weakness; offensive = increase hurt
