Description:
Elysian is a pretty tall girl for her age. She is normally wearing childish clothes, especially considering that most people view her as being a child. She wears a lot of vibrant colors, which vary from the light purple of her hair to the bright yellows that emanate from the vibrant sun. Elysian is slender and doesn’t have a lot of muscle, mostly because she hasn’t come to the age where she needs to start working out in order to maintain a certain body type. Elysian has golden amber eyes, which almost seem to glow when they are put under the sun or paired with the brightly colored clothing that she tends to wear. Elysian is also almost always seen with a small teddy bear in her hands at all times, which is deemed with the name ‘Mortus’. This teddy bear is made of different kinds of cloth, each a different color and type of texture.

Personality:
Elysian is a girl who is underestimated, calm, and confident.

Elysian, who is only 15 years of age, tends to be underestimated because of her age. Elysian tries, at all costs, to prove people’s opinions of her wrong, whether that be through shocking intellect or well-planned battle strategy. As a side effect of this trait of hers, she is also very observant. How else can she hope to defeat other people unless she tries to gauge their strengths and weaknesses against her own?

Elysian is a calm individual, most of the time. It takes quite a bit to blow her top off, but it is possible to make her angry. Though the majority of the time, she is calm and slightly apathetic towards people. Elysian can gauge a situation easily in her mind and keep calm, even when the situation does not favor her in the slightest.

Most girls Elysian’s age are just beginning to figure out who they are, which makes them shy and reluctant in situations where they aren’t comfortable. Elysian is nothing like these girls; she is confident and doesn’t sell herself short. Ever. Elysian does tend to oversell herself quite a bit, which gets her into more than a few hassles every once in a while.

Description:
Kuïr Numai is a magic which consists of mostly debuff spells, trying to get the opponent at as much of a disadvantage as possible before they can strike. Kuïr Numai stands for ‘Senses of Defeat’. This magic has the capabilities of debuffing the majority of an enemy’s parameters, the only sense being excluded is smell. This magic goes about debuffing the opponent through an element that is in the air, which is referred to as 'Hua'. Hua is an element that exists within all areas of existence. (Dark matter is essentially what this is, although it's not exactly the same. Dark matter is a material which holds the corporeal world together in theory. Hua is essentially the shadows of atoms in the air, which are collected through Elysian's magic.) Kuïr Numai collects Hua and essentially creates a sort of amorphous solid, which is manipulated through the magic as well. The solid has almost no mass, but is extremely dense, which can cause different kinds of restrictions based on the shape that Elysian wants to make the amorphous solid. If she wants to create a wall of this amorphous solid against someone's eyes, which can restrict their sight, then she can do that. (The effects of this solid probably wouldn't be extremely effective at first since it would be very weak.)

Weaknesses:
Since this magic is mostly debuff, it leaves little room for the caster to have capabilities to attack or defend.


HISTORY

History:
Elysian was a girl born to two parents who couldn’t afford to take care of her. As such, most people expect to hear the sad orphan story, which then motivates them to be the best in the world and to find their parents. Unfortunately, Elysian was born into something much worse than being an orphan. Elysian was given to an innkeeper, named Durian Pufin, who wanted to have children very badly. His reason for wanting children was not the innocent way that most people expect someone to have. This man simply wanted children so that he could grow them and beat them into submission, then sell them to a slave trader when they finally learned how to be obedient. Elysian, unfortunately, knew nothing of this fact when she was only a small child.

As Elysian grew older, she grew to enjoy the company of the man that had raised her. She was a little girl of about 5 years old when the man began asking her to do things. The bratty child she was at the time, refused to do anything because she was either tired, hungry, or simply didn’t want to do the task she was asked. That was the beginning of the abuse that she endured from her ‘father’. Elysian would be punched so hard in the head, she could sometimes hear an audible crack when his fist collided with her skull.

When Elysian reached the age of 11, she began studying magic secretly as she worked for her father. Her teacher, named Lira Korru, began teaching her when she would visit the pub that was located inside the inn that Elysian’s ‘father’ owned. As she became more and more proficient with the magic, her power grew little by little. Elysian never used magic against her ‘father’, despite how much he would hit her and make her obey what he said.

One day, Elysian was doing the morning chores she was told to do, when a strange man came to meet with her ‘father’. They seemed to talk for an awfully long time, when she suddenly heard a mention of her name in the conversation. Elysian was wondering what they were talking about, so Elysian listened in. Elysian couldn’t figure out many words, but enough to convince her that she was being sold off to the strange man as a slave. Elysian, of course, didn’t want to be a slave, so she went up to the upper floors of the inn and tried to get her ‘father’ to go up there. Elysian managed to call her ‘father’ up and he asked her to go with the strange man to a whole new world of joy and fun. She stared her ‘father’ in the face and told him no, which made him lash out at her. Elysian took the beating and felt numb, but she was filled with an anger like she never felt before. In this spurt of anger, she used one of the few offensive spells that were part of her magic and accidentally killed her ‘father’ in the process. Elysian left her ‘father’ in the upstairs rooms and quickly gathered a few of her things and left before she could be sold off as a slave.

Elysian made her living by completing certain requests that were in favor of her talents as a mage. Elysian learned how to read others and their physical quirks, how to make herself blend into a crowd, as well as how to execute flips, cartwheels, and other acrobatic maneuvers in combat. Elysian is still wandering and completing random requests, trying to figure out whether she wants to join a light guild or not.

No need for those weaknesses, only being able to debuff is a weakness that can pretty much fill up that whole slot. But, tell me, in what way does this magic inflict these debuffs? Please describe.
