II. APPEARANCE

Height: 185 cm
Weight: 85 kg
Hair: Konstantin has thick cyan coloured hair which is typically spiked up if measured his hair would average at around 15 cm long.
Eyes: blue but are glow red during night time, use of magic or emotional instability.
General Appearance: Konstantin has his face bandaged so that only his eyes can be seen after being disfigured. He wears a black shirt and pants with a black belt around his waist and his left leg, as well as a Dark green cloak that covers his whole body. He also wears gloves and boots. Despite the attire he is fairly fit with his regular spars with other rune knights using both sword, magic and fists, daily archery practise and the various other things he does to improve his fighting skill. During times by himself or in the company of others, he will don more relaxing clothes swapping from a black style to a creamy, off-white get-up though still maintaining complete concealment of his body. The only time he does complete uncover is when he is taking a bath or shower, and if he is interrupted he will hide his face by any means e.g a towel.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Jin is a man with many sides which surprise most due to his intimidating appearance, one that is a smooth calculating dominating figure, it could be suggested that this aspect of his behaviour is due to the years of strict regimented learning on top of completing the Blood Sacrifice ceremony and the sudden death of his sister soon after. Other times however his attitude changes entirely becoming completely aloof by looking through old documents hundreds of years old often completely alone, another side of his personality consists of when he is in the company of those that he cares about which is completely different in that he becomes a kind, caring, compassionate man. His seeming bipolar behavior however does not completely define him as person as due to the self-confidence which he portrays people see him as both Powerful and wise in a non-threatening manner that would not cause a person to hesitate to request his assistance or question his theories which has proven useful in the past, This trait would often allow him to enter locations typically restricted to officials or pass through crowds of people with ease. The only time is he scared however is when people get too close (face to face) as he fears that they can see the scars that cover his face.
Likes:

• Hot springs and Lakes - Finding these two location to be his preferred destinations he frequently goes to either one during his holidays, Lakes in the summers and Hot springs in the winters.
  
• Reading books - One of his favorite past times he has spent countless hours and hundreds of thousands worth of jewels on his hobby and his research for the Magic Council.
  
• Na'Mi - His only friend and companion for some of the hardest parts of his life, this girl from another land both endured his presence and his affection developed as they travelled together.
  

Dislikes:

• Disorder - Raised in a restricting, authoritarian fashion as a child Jin has come to depend on order and rules to survive as a result he will often go through the right path even if it is harder and more time-consuming.
  
• Certain Magical Practices - These practices refer to the ones which would give the participants great power or wealth in exchange for a terrible price for example the one that his family complete each time the head of the family dies.
  
• Alcohol - Shortly after his father's death Jin fell into a deep depression choosing to ignore his normal hobbies and began to drink extreme amounts of alcohol daily. He was only able to break through this cycle when he met Na'Mi.
  
• Loud noises - Spending most of his life inside libraries his ears became adjusted to more sensitive sounds as a result any overly loud noises irritate him.
  

Motivations: To learn more about and use his new found magic - While Jin is adept in the theoretical part of magic in Fiore, he is yet research the types of magic which are throughout the rest of Earthland due to this he has endeavored to read up on anything related to his magic so he will have some background and history of the magic.
To increase his standing within the Magic Council - Despite only being in the Magic Council for almost 3 months, Jin has yet to be able to reach a high point in ranking there

Fears:

• His Oldest Brother Ichirou - One of the cruel and evil men that Jin has met to date, Ichirou would often abuse him both physically and vocally before he left to begin his education, until he returned resulting in more severe injuries.
  Darkness - A Childish and Silly fear which Jin gained as a child due to his brother, he now needs to have some form of light around him at any time.
  Being Seen - After being disfigured Jin began to complete mask his appearance fearing that others would consider him a freak of nature because of this, he is afraid of being seen.
  

Positive Traits:

• High Society (+2): You know good manners and were trained to handle social interactions in noble circles. This is useful in requests involving members of the highest levels of society, such as monarchs, nobles, courtiers, lords and ladies, and high-ranking clerics.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Archive Magic
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: This Magic allows the user to convert information into Magical data, which can be stored, enabling the user to gain access to previously stored information. It is mainly used by flat-screens which are projected into the air and contains information on them. These screens are very durable and can be used as a shield though they can also be used offensively. It also allows the user to transfer information from person to person more quickly and efficiently than through verbal communication.
Strengths: Archive magic is powerful due to it's abilities in gathering, converting and transferring information to other people which is particularly handy for certain tasks including espionage, all information gained is stored forever and is encoded.
Weaknesses: While Archive Magic has no elemental weaknesses, it does suffer from having little to no close combat spells in it's arsenal as a result, as a result those with Archive magic will need to rely on alternative sources for close combat, while it has a lot of supplementary spells it doesn't have many buffing spells and can not be used to heal.


V. HISTORY

History: Jin was born on a mild winter's night, he is the middle child of the main branch of the Kyumi family, which consisted of his older brother, Ichirou who is the first born almost 8 years before Jin and his sisters, Hoshi who is the oldest of the three born almost 4 years before Jin, Rei was born just under a year after him and Yumiko who was born 2 years after Konstantin, unfortunately during the birth of Yumiko, their mother, Amaterasu died due to blood loss. Their father, Hisaho couldn't find a way to save Amaterasu despite all the money the family had, so he removed himself from the outside world choosing to spend his days studying the arts of necromancy, this obsession lead to him completely forgetting his children including Konstantin who were instead looked after by maids and midwifes, each of them handled the change differently for example this was the cause for Ichirou's distaste towards him as Konstantin often would protect Yumiko from Ichirou with Hoshi's help.

Eventually after Yumiko reached 6 years old one of the maids suggested to the absent minded almost mad Hisaho that the younger children should begin school, so at age 8 Konstantin was shipped across Fiore with his siblings to a Dormitory in the freezing mountains near the border to the countries in the east, it was here where he spent almost a decade following precise orders, studying, debating, calculating, he would often bore and often annoy both his classmates and friends by trying to discuss minor details which amused him. This entertaining education was brought to an end shortly before his 17th birthday when he and his sisters had been requested to return to his home as his father had died from a heart attack whilst he was commencing a series of experiments.

Shortly after the funeral of his father, he learnt that their return to their home was not to pay his respect to the man whom he felt not attachment to but was also to have one of them to partake in a family magic tradition also known as the Blood Sacrifice ceremony which involves the sacrifice of a virgin teenage girl by a member of the head family of the Sokolov branch with the entire head family being present. The ceremony occurs each time the head of the family dies, the previous one to have occurred was a few months prior to Konstantin's 3th birthday, which was performed after the death of his grandfather. After witnessing the barbaric act which Ichirou performed, he and his sisters tried to flee from his family by going into the forbidden, sacred forests that surrounded his home town, However Hoshi was killed by Ichirou for betraying the family before she could escape the grounds of the house.

With his sisters Konstantin began to move around the vast country finding only the occasion jobs to sustain them and Konstantin's ever increasing alcohol abuse. Eventually however with debts and fights occurring between them, the three separated following different paths. Without his sisters' guidance he quickly fell in with the wrong group of people who were willing anything to hurt society which mainly involved starting fights with law enforcement groups and stealing high value objects, during one of these jobs Konstantin injured himself where he overestimated his abilities. Whilst he was recovering from the wounds he sustained, he was contacted by a courier for Pergrande kingdom Na'Mi who was in possession of a rare magical jewel and had been walking around aimlessly looking for assistance after she felt from a tree fracturing her left femur and two of her ribs, leading to her persuading him to become her pseudo-bodyguard as she traveled to Crocus to deliver it to the King as a peace offer.

Instead of going directly to the king however the pair took an extended detour due to the amount of injures she had sustained forcing them to see a local doctor who splinted her leg and heal her other various cuts and bruises. Whilst she began to heal they started to develop a close relationship, which was a odd thing for Jin who was still largely naive about most of the world after many months as friends they developed a intimate relationship until a letter arrived demanding that she returned to Pergrande Kingdom or risk being labelled as a deserter to the crown, leading to her sending a letter of her own requesting her discharge upon completing her mission before leaving and beginning their journey to Crocus.

Unfortunately when they crossed a fast flowing river using a rotting old bridge sadly the bridge was unable to sustain their weight and collapsed, which led to the jewel in her possession to fall out of her pack and in a attempt to reclaim it from the crystal clear water, he managed to absorb the magic from the jewel. Through careful consideration and discuss with Na'Mi he realized it would be better to raise the dragon in a secure environment, he swiftly traveled to Crocus to become a member of the Magic Council. fortunately though he was promoted due to the heads of the Magic Council gave him a seat within the lower cabinet for the Council to observe his progress as a mage knowing full well that he was in possession of a mysterious power.

This cabinet is where Konstantin largely spends this time besides the occasional mission which he does to further his ranking inside the Council or when he is discussing matters with his fellow members in the various courtyard around Crocus. Noting that his quick raise of power in the Magic Council was due to this, he wishes to further improve and increase his magical abilities both of which he does in his spare time involving by starting abandoned research of past Magic Council members. This abandoned research led to his disfigurement which maimed most of his face primarily the left side and burned a large portion of his right torso.
