II. APPEARANCE
Height: 6’10ft
Weight: 275lbs [muscular -slim]
Hair: White - Spikey
Eyes: Illuminated Sanguine
General Appearance: Koloktos is quite the eccentric man, he has a very toned and muscular frame that allows for his posh and high-class nature to be accented by a beautifully swoon worthy frame. His skin is that of supple coco glazed over his muscle which allows him a shiny disposition. He is like a warmly baked milk chocolate cookie that has been put in an oven and cooked to perfection. He is endowed to the point of being an African-American stereotype as well. He has a beauty mark as well. Physically he is not at all slender and he is a rather well built man, being two-hundred pounds of condensed and chiseled muscle. He has hair that is platnium silver hair, and his eyes are blood red.
Extra: His brand is a twisted heart tattoo that he got over his arm by a pirate by the name of Hart Grimsley. It was used as a slave marker.
III. PERSONALITY
Personality: Koloktos is the kind of man known to be both dashing and cunning. He is a schemer and wants nothing more than to be underestimated at all times. He likes to be seen as a vile and untrustworthy man, as he feels he should be the reflection of the world he grew up in. He has no sense of loyalty to anyone he views is worthless, which for the sake of himself is quite a lot of people, finding that the only person so far in his life that he even considered passable is a woman by the name of Scarlet. He is a silvered tongue fox face slimeball and revels in it. He feels nothing for most people, and holds himself to be a prophet of Asmodeus.
When it comes specifically to people who he has trust and affection placed in, he is very honest about all of his thoughts and intentions. Being very brash and bold in his statements towards those whom he figures have some form of value. He does not care if they have hurt feeling, but he will comfort these people during times of strife. It is very odd that he is very romantic [to specific people], protective, and highly affectionate to those closest to him. He cares enough to at least attempt to show some loyalty towards these people, but doesn't let his guard down because he is a very snake-like individual.
As a combatant he is just as much a worm as he would be otherwise. He likes for his opponents to underestimate him or to let their guards down around him, and he hates to be considered a serious threat inside of combat. He personally does not fight his own battles and issues orders mentally to his summoned ally, the powerful and very deranged Asmodeus.

Motivations:
- Happiness - Not to be cliche but he does eventually want to have something in his life that brings him joy and pleasure, things that had been missing in his life since the downfall of his family. He doesn't know what it is, but he does know that whatever it is he wants it.
- Asmodeus - He basically exists to feed the hunger that resides in Asmodeus, as the creature is now his best friend he spends a lot of time making sure that Asmodeus is well fed, happy, and generally is having a blast. The feeling is mutual, despite Asmodeus hatred of humans.
- Scarlet - Despite not knowing the female for all too long, he is infatuated with her (and her buttock) and he feels as though that keep her efficient and happy is a great way to keep both the guild afloat and to make sure that he at least has a single friend in his life outside of his demon. Although, he does not know if he matters to her or not, and he doesn't go out of his way to find out.
Fears:
- Abandonment - He does not and can not allow himself to be abandoned again, as he was already forsaken by his parents, childhood friends, and general society for housing a demonic entity.
- Asmodeus' Death - He has grown to have a brotherly bond with the demonic entity that changes his life for the better, and he fears losing the creature be it through its absolute ascent or to its downfall from the Starcross Order.
- Purity - He does not want to be converted into some freaky highly positive and do-gooder type person. He committed a lot of atrocities in his life, and feels no remorse for the actions. He is happy how he is.
Positive Traits:
- Animal Affinity (+2): You are good with animals.
- Animal Tongue (+4): You are capable of speaking with animals.
- Daunting Presence (+2): You are skilled at inducing fear in your opponents.
- Deceitful (+2): You have a knack for disguising the truth. Your lies are difficult to distinguish from the truth.
- Enhanced Strength (+3): Your character is slightly stronger than other characters when it comes to physical strength.
- Fortitude (+3): You are tougher than normal. You can take more hits than the regular Joe.
- High Society (+2): You know good manners and were trained to handle social interactions in noble circles. This is useful in requests involving members of the highest levels of society, such as monarchs, nobles, courtiers, lords and ladies, and high-ranking clerics.
- Persuasive (+2): You have a way with words and body language. Somehow you manage to persuade weaker minded people easily.
Negative Traits:
- Ambitious (-1): You crave power. Money is nice, but being in charge of other people is your favorite thing. You are likely to be brought down by attempting a risky grab for power and failing. Even when deals are risky you will give in and agree most of times.
- Amnesia (-1): You are unable to remember anything about your past, yourself, or your family. Your life is a blank slate. However, your past may someday come back to haunt you.
The rest of the flaws you pick are unknown to your character; over the course of your progress, your character will slowly discover them. - Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do. [Denounced Angel]
- Branded (-2): You have fled for a crime committed and now have a prominent brand. You may have been a criminal, a slave, or some other such illicit individual. The brand is such that it cannot be easily covered, and a cursory search reveals it each time. Law enforcement agents of any lawful land will immediately take you into custody if they see the mark, for extradition or imprisonment. It is your choice as to whether or not you were falsely accused of the crime. [Seal of The Gods, Chest, Abdomen, etc etc.]
- Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad.
Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
Mania: The character has a fairly constant euphoric or possibly irritable mood. Symptoms include a general increase in activity, talkativeness, increased self-esteem to the point of delusion, decreased need for sleep, being easily distracted, willingness for dangerous or imprudent activities , delusions, hallucinations, and bizarre behavior.
Bipolar Mood Disorder: The character oscillates between the mood states mentioned above, sometimes staying in one mood for weeks at a time, sometimes rapidly switching from one to another. Also known as manic depressive. - Extravagant (-1): You enjoy living in the lap of luxury. Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. In addition, any equipment or services you purchase cost 10% more than the standard rate for the locale you are currently in. The best of the best always costs more, after all.
- Fanaticism (-1): [Church of Endless Black] This can be a substantial disadvantage for a character, though it requires significant roleplaying commitment on the part of the player. The fanaticism can be dedication to a particular cult, religion, or god, or it can be more worldly-based, in the sense of overwhelming loyalty to a state, a military presence, or to a particular leader. Whatever their sources, the different types of fanaticism have several things in common. If a certain code of behavior is called for by the belief, then the character must conform to that behavior--even if it conflicts with the immediate goals of the PC and his companions. While fanaticism is not necessarily evil, it may certainly become tiresome to those who do not share the fanatics beliefs.
- Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
- Hedonistic (-1): You love a good time. You party too much, drink too much, and eat too much. You have trouble resisting an invitation to join someone in a drink and sometimes shirk your duty if offered a more enjoyable time elsewhere. Whenever a good time is presented you let your guard. You're also not capable to resist seduction of any sort. It's just not in your nature to resist such opportunities.
- Intolerance (-1): [Lawful Alignment People] You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
- Judgmental (-1): [Angels] You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute.
- Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
- Overconfident (-1): Nothing is beyond your capabilities. If you wanted, you could defeat the best swordsman in the world; you just haven't had any reason to do so yet. And surely that chasm isn't too wide for you to leap across.
- Overzealous (-1): You are incapable of having a weak opinion. Everything you believe, you believe as if your life depended on it. Everything you don't believe in, you hate with a passion.
Once in a while your flaw gets you to strongly defend one of your opinions, no matter how inappropriate the time and place, nor what the circumstances of such an outburst may be. - Proud (-1): You don't like accepting help from others. If a gift or offer of aid smacks of charity or pity even the slightest bit, you grow indignant and refuse it.
- Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
- Righteous (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.

V. HISTORY
History: Despite being born on a Fiore-controlled Island Koloktos was the son of slavers who operated around the coasts through a very convoluted and complex slavery system. His mother was a pirate by the name of "Unicorn" Raina Hojo, and his father was a ex rune knight who never made it past the rank of captain, and therefore didn't garner any actual fame. His name was "Bottleneck" Dwayne Ghirahim. Even without his lack of ranking up in the military during his tenure, it seemed that as a pirate he got at least a little more respect. Koloktos was initially fine with this lifestyle.
What eventually led to the downfall of his family's particular section in the organization was their inability to allow the young ward to garner any stability. He had not been around kids his own age on the various islands that they visited. He was never given the chance to date or to have friends, and the emotional strain that it placed on the young lad caused him to confide in one of his families slaves, a young woman by the name of Nai Chi. Between his combat sessions with fellow slavers, and his educational exercises, Nai Chi was Koloktos' love.
They had met countless times, romantically entwined in one another's longing and wanting bodies. Their passion was so immense that eventually the young male had convinced his parents into allowing her to be his personal handmaiden, convincing his parents that he was indeed quite flamboyant. For awhile it worked, and by the time he was 16 he planned to buy the girl outright from his parents...until he found out that she was sold to a very abusive and influential Pirate by the name of Lusko. Lusko the Horned Toad seemed to take a liking to the young slave.
This didn't go over well with Koloktos however, as he rebelled against his parents outright, attacking his father with a sucker punch to the face. As punishment he normally would be sent to the boiler room for a few days, but because of his reason for betraying his father's trust, Koloktos was sentenced to death by none other than Lusko himself. As Lusko was higher on the totem pole, it was no wonder why Koloktos' parents so willingly obeyed. As they went for the boy he moved past the men he once called friend and drew his father's scimitar quickly. He was overpowered when a strange voice called out to him, it demanded that he allow it to use his body as its vessel, and it would save him and his lover. He agreed and spoke the creatures name, Asmodeus.
The summon brought forth from the plains of eternal damnation thanked Koloktos and made sure that no one would walk away from this scuffle alive. Piercing his master's mother in the heart and cutting off the father's head, he was assaulted by a great many pawns before finally being the last one standing...ten meters from Lusko and Nai Chi. Standing next to his newly formed friend Koloktos pleaded to have the man release the girl were ultimately tossed aside when the crazed pirate pulled his trigger and shot the poor girl in the head. A decision that the pirate didn't live to regret. With a series of well placed strikes his friend butchered the slaver, and Koloktos held Nai Chi's body to his own chest, vowing that he was sorry for her death.
After four years had passed, he seemed to have grown cold and less emotional. He was the kind of living embodiment of hatred and snobbery that his parents wanted him to be, but he learned the hard way that the world was not as easily lived in as he thought. During his adventurous four year trek to the mainland of Fiore he was ironically made into a slave himself, at the hands of another member of the same organization, one who didn't realize who the young man was. Despite the fact that he did ultimately kill the man and his entire crew, Koloktos forever had the brand of the Hartstring Pirates on his arm, a reminder of his slave days.
He was filled inside with a kind of nurtured hatred that was on the scale of Kratos, and this only seemed to explode outwards when he encountered a group of paladins whose sole mission was to root out the wielders of dread magic and slay them. Figuring that his magic was too risky for him to use without the aid of others, he sought haven in Fiore, making his way to a guild known only as Phantom Lord, he wondered what adventures would await him in the strange new location. With Asmodeus at his beck and call, he was ready to at least discover his purpose, and Asmodeus' true goal.
