Naga

General Rules:

  1. Respect: Respect is an essential thing. Even if your partner is not facing you, it does not relieve you of the responsibility to be respectful towards them. Defamatory, racist, sexual and other breaches of the code of ethics will be severely punished. The administration reserves the right to ban any person who engage in such acts on the spot. Although the staff are the main referees, they are however not above the law. For any abuse on their part, do not hesitate to report it to either Seishin, Sayuri or Kazuki (with supporting evidence).
  2. Writing and roleplaying: A minimum of ten solid lines (excluding dialogues) are required for a roleplay post to be considered as accepted. This is done in order to maintain a certain level of quality in the roleplay. Remember that you write for yourself, but also for others. So be sure to write the correct way. It is not allowed to double post, and you're not allowed to edit your post unless your roleplay partner(s) allow(s) it. See, if your character is fighting another character, you should not edit your posts without asking your opponent first. This is to ensure that people are not editing their posts after making a mistake to get an advantage. Think twice before you post.
  3. Metagaming: Do not metagame. Metagaming can be defined as any out of character action made by a player's character which makes use of knowledge that the character is not meant to be aware of. Roleplay with your character based on the information given in the application. Do not change his personality whenever you see fit. If your character is serious and cold do make a fun topic where goes out making jokes. It is mandatory that you separate the actions, thoughts and other things for your character, using colors, dashes, quotes, or anything else that serves for this purpose.
  4. Combat: We try to govern the battles with our mana pools and systems but there is another essential key is required which is fair play. It is obvious that characters get tired anyway in their battles. This is why we ask our members to be humble in this process and logical. It is not important to win constantly. Defeat is an integral part of any character. Metagaming and godmodding is not allowed. In those cases that a dispute occurs, the moderators and administrators will serve as arbitrator. Try to be mature, if the mentioned arguments clearly show that you're not right, don't get a moderator or administrator involved. In some cases it might even result into an punishment. Death is possible if both parties agree that it is a possibility in the thread. Some plot threads might be deadly but this information will be placed somewhere very visible for the possible visitors to read so that they enter at their own discretion.
  5. Graphics: In order to not distort the pages for all players, the maximum size for avatars is set at 150 pixels width and 300 pixels height. It is required to have an avatar before you roleplay. The avatar must be an image of your appearance. Signatures must not exceed 450 pixels width and 150 pixels height. It is only allowed to have one signature image. Any breach of this rule will result in the removal of images and possibly lowering the member's warning bar.
  6. Advertising: Any advertising for another forum is prohibited. The only area where it is tolerated is the Advertisement section. Any breach of this rule will result into an immediate ban of the member who violated this rule. This means advertising in other sections, through private messages, mentioning other forums in the chatbox and sharing urls directing to other forums.
  7. Accounts: The username must match your character's full name. Every account has an unique face claim, this can not be changed later on so pick your appearance wisely. A member is allowed to have multiple characters, but each character requires a separate account. A member can only have one account with a limited magic (such as Requip or Dragon Slayer). When a character dies the account will get locked. All characters must be humans. Anything other than human requires admin approval.
  8. Guilds: It is highly frowned upon to leave your guild. While in some cases it may be the result of a character's growth, it is usually not respectful towards the guild you chose in the first place. To compensate this a mandatory payment has to be done whenever a member decides to leave their guild. The starting fee to leave is 100,000J, this doubles every time you do it again. Pick your guilds wisely when you start. In case you want to try out a new guild, consider a new character.
  9. Chatbox: Do not start any fights or get yourself involved when someone is provoking you. Behave properly in the chatbox. Everyone involved in the fight will get chatbox banned. Do not whine or complain in the chatbox. Complaints can be PMed to the administrators. Do not advertise in the chatbox. It's difficult to set this bar so any reference to other forums will be considered as advertising. Do not use codes to alter the chatbox color or font. No sexual conversations in the chatbox. This goes into the PMs.
  10. Limitation: Characters can only be in three threads at the same time. These threads must be in the same town. So it is possible to be going on a mission in one thread, while having a romantic dinner in another thread as long as it's in the same town. Once you leave a town you must exit all your threads in that town first.
