Effect: When Jacob exhales his breath turns to frost and the area around him up to 5 meters drops in temperature severely. This allows him to cast his ice spells in unhospitable climates. The temperature drops into the single digits and can turn surrounding bodies of water into ice. It will not effect opponents capabilities it just make the area really cold. Simple metal such as cheap locks door nobs or chains exposed to the cold will become brittle and easier to break. Equipment owned by other characters will not be affected.

Effect: Jacob places his fist into his open palm, causing a severely cold wind to blow around him and create an armor made entirely out of ice. A kite shield of ice is attached to his left forearm. The ice armor negates 50% of all incoming damage and can withstand four D class spells, two C class spells. Any spell if a higher rank will break it. When ever the spell is broken or discontinued it evaporates into most. If the spell is fire based then the armor will only survival a single D ranked spell. Anything else will cause the ice to evaporate.

Effect: Creates a sheet of ice over anything he touches. This ice can be shaped into various forms. For instance if he were to pick up a pipe he could coat it into a sword with a moderately sharp edge, or a club with substantial weight at one end. The ice shell can be broken with a single D rank spell. This spell can also be used to hinder opponents if used properly. Using this ice shell to freeze a foot to the ground or cover a sharp weapons in dull ice to make it temporarily blunt. Admittedly it is easy for opponents to shatter this ice so it’s only a temporary hindrance at best.

Effect: Jacob uses his limited knowledge of Ice magic to do what he does best, destroy things. In order for the spell to work he has to have physical contact with ice. Once established he can cause the ice to shatter. Violently. He can only destroy a two meters of ice at a time, This ice is turned into countless slivers of sharp ice the erupt violent outwards to a maximum length of 5 meters dealing D rank damage to those caught in the blast. Even the shards that are at the edge of the two meter range will only have enough force to travel a max of 5 meters.

Effect: The caster extends either arm forward causing a meter long shaft of hardened ice to form beside it. Once it is formed the spear is launched forward up to 5 meters. Upon impact the spear disintegrates into tiny shards of ice which do no damage.
