Description: Relius is a man that is tall and lean, with a fairly good build overall, but he doesn't have that much muscle mass, nor does he have much fat either. He looks almost ghostly, with a very pale complexion, although his skin is very fair, almost as if he was a porcelain doll himself. He has long hair that flows to his mid back, although his bangs have been cut short to frame his face. He usually wears his hair in a particular fashion, and this would be to have the hair sit in a way that is appears simply brushed down towards his face, almost as if it was controlled messiness. His eyes are his most stunning feature, as the whites of his eyes are a pitch black color, while his irises are a stunning crystal blue color. He wears a long flowing cloak fashioned to appear like moth or butterfly wings, and they have muted blue and green colors to match. His other clothing items include a style that is half military strategist, half bandit warlord. He has an admiral's cloak and shoulders, but the uniform is decorated in leather belts and iron rings. Only the flowing robe he also wears adds color to his outfit and they also have floral patterns on them. His appearance looks meticulously applied, appearing like he spent hours making sure that his appearance was perfect.
PERSONALITY
Personality: Relius is what one would call meticulous, and that really shines. Whenever he does something, he makes sure every detail of this is perfect, and this stems from his ocd. He needs to make sure that he has a perfect vision for how he wants something done, and then he proceeds to make sure that every aspect of his grand plan goes off without a hitch. This rarely happens, and he understands this, but his plans getting messed up simply fills him with rage and frustration, and he attempts to do things over again, sometimes with a whole new vision, and sometimes not, depending on if he thinks which one of his plans he could fully realize. He enjoys things much like anyone else, but he is only truly happy when he is scheming. He enjoys plans within plans on top of even more plans, and thus he has schedules for nearly everything he does. Everything has to be neat and tidy, and happen with precise timing. This includes him simply waiting minutes at a time if he gets let out of a meeting early, just so that he can leave at precisely when the organizers said the meeting adjourned. He is truly in his element when planning a fight, as he loves to research his opponent, figure out their weakness, and then take them down in a perfect manner, and he claims these are his "Grand Performances."
Motivations: Perfection in all things that Relius does, this is his ultimate goal, his whole life crystallized into a single notion.
He also wants to be remembered for all of the grand things that he will no doubt accomplish in his life, and he wants to invoke awe into others, as well as respect, when they hear tales of what he has done.
A final motivation is that of bettering those around him, as they are obviously inferior to him. He attempts to teach them how they can become better themselves in anything that they can do, and of course they are lacking in something when he speaks to them, so he will gladly tell them.
Fears: As an opposite of his motivations, he is extremely afraid of being forgotten, so he desperately tries to outdo others and wants to make sure they know that they have been outclassed.
Another fear that he is engrossed in is that if someone did something that he had made a perfect plan for, only to have another steal his thunder, making or doing something far more grandiose than he did, with less effort or planning.
The final fear is of his perfect plans being messed up, the end result being changed to something drastically different from what he envisioned. This means that if he was planning an assassination, and the target did not die, he would be devastated, and this is a constant fear when he is planning something.
Likes:
- Preparation - Relius believes that when doing something, you should research and do it right the first time, or do it right when the time comes and it is important, so he likes people who are well prepared.
- The Arts - Relius loves anything that could be related to art, master craftsmen who toil away making perfect paintings, perfect weapons, perfect furniture, and even perfect magics. He loves masterpieces in all forms.
- Finer Things - Relius has learned to appreciate the finer things in life, expensive food, women, power, all of the things that come with having a full wallet. when the money is taken away from him, his meticulousness allows him to make it all back, and so he enjoys the cycle.
Dislikes:
- Being Interrupted - One of Relius' biggest pet peeves is when he is speaking or performing some sort of action and he gets rudely interrupted. This usually makes him furious at whatever or whoever interrupted him to the point where they will need to be dealt with somehow.
- People Who Break His Tempo - When Relius wants something to happen, usually the people around him are easily manipulated into doing what he says. His silver tongue can part the seas if need be, but there are those that go against his grain, and he despises those types of people.
- Sudden Surprises - Relius, being a person of schedules and research, really hates when something is dumped on him from out of the blue. Usually he is fine with things that were within his general expectations and calculations, but when life hits him with something he can't possibly have planned for, he gets really uneasy.

Negative Characteristics:

The damage received from bludgeoning damage is increased by one class if it's a spell. - Cautious (-1): You are uneasy engaging in behavior that carries a chance of failure. You must spend twice as long performing any skill that requires an action. For example, deciphering a page of text would take 2 minutes for you instead of 1.
Explanation: You are very slow in your actions because you take more time to do things. This requires you to use 20% more words in any roleplay that has a word count requirement (such as travels or requests). - Compulsions - Making Things Perfect (-3): The character insists on performing ritual actions, such as touching a doorway at left, right, and top before passing through it. Though she may agree that the actions are senseless, the need to perform them is overpowering.

Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. Explanation: You will always pay 10% more when purchasing something. - Intolerance - Being Interrupted (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play. - Overzealous (-1): You are incapable of having a weak opinion. Everything you believe, you believe as if your life depended on it. Everything you don't believe in, you hate with a passion.
Once in a while your flaw gets you to strongly defend one of your opinions, no matter how inappropriate the time and place, nor what the circumstances of such an outburst may be.

HISTORY
Birth and Early Childhood: Relius was born in a wealthy noble family that liked to change the outcome to certain things in history. They were part of a secret order that decided who would usurp the throne in kingdoms, who would be elected mayor in towns and cities, as well as who would be guild masters in newly formed guilds. Relius' parents decided to have a child to increase their status amongst the other nobles, as a well trained child was essentially another status symbol. His parents were fairly happy, as they had enough money and influence to make sure that both of their healths were in proper order, so that their child came out nice and healthy. This of course, would not go quite as planned, as there were a lot of other nobles that hated them, much like they hated other people. The other nobles hired an assassin to make sure that the child inside Relius' mother was never born, but they had failed. Instead, Relius was simply born a bit too early, and so he had a weak body.
During his childhood, his weak body was considered a failure, and his birth was considered a mistake by his parents, at least for a while. He was fairly neglected, but he found solace in books. Old mystery novels and war strategist books were things that interested him, and he had his family's money so that he would have an incredible education. He was still tutored and appearances were kept up so that the family name wouldn't be dragged through the mud for having an outcast or unintelligent son, and thus Relius was a child genius, although he had a fairly weak body to compensate for his mind. While reading through the old mystery novels, he noticed how many mistakes that the criminals usually made, often simple and overlooked, these criminals almost never got away, and this seemed like a shame to Relius, and he would not repeat their mistakes.
This idea of meticulous planning and preparation bled over into the other aspects of his life, and this made him drive for perfect test scores in school, as well as the highest marks in extra-curricular activities in school.
Young Adult Life: Because of his neglectful upbringing, Relius was determined to become great without the help of his parents, although he did use a lot of their money on his road to greatness. He was meticulous to the point of derangement in his every day life, and with that on his mind, he surpassed every other son and daughter of nobles that were competing with his family. He was a planner, and he was also an executioner in those plans. He cut through life with his knife called wit and intelligence. He even learned a magic that was extremely strong, depending on how one used it, and he was excelling in essentially everything. He still had a fairly weak body, so he couldn't take a lot of punishments, and this simply made him much better when sparring and competing with others in magical fights and what have you. He learned his weakness and eliminated it by simply being a better battle tactician.
He decided to reach out and attempt to join a powerful guild, so that he could all at once be away from his parents, and branch out to forge his own way through life, and so that he could actually plan on a much grander scale.
