Ulassai. The town had to be easily one of Velvet's favorite places in all the land. The rivers and lakes that ran through canals and the sound of rushing water, the precise and unique architect of each building, and the vibrant and bright colors! There was the sound of satin white birds flying overhead, and the air was crisp and humid. Not many people roamed the cobblestone streets and wooden bridges of the town at this time, though the ones that did did so happily.

Velvet's heels clicked audibly across the ground with each stride, emotions hidden underneath a pair of aviator glasses and a bland face. The inner part of Ulassai was deviod of barely any people at all, just a few bodies here and there that were reclined against the walls, or a beggar or two asleep on the floor. Velvet knew she was looking, felt compelled to search for something. What that "thing" was, she did not know yet...

traveling to new worlds, trying to find what was lost so many times ago in so many different worlds, it was all so natural for this young mage and scientist, MAGES., and yet it was feeling more and more like a chore then a life worth living. MAGES. was still finding it more fun then it was worth and yet still needed to find the one thing that was avoiding her ever since it disappeared in her world. "well, it doesn't seem to be here either... unless i missed it. hmm... i better ask one of the locals. all mysteries here will disappear once i, MAGES., have found them all. El Sai Congro." MAGES. said in a calm and collective tone, keep her hat from blowing away from the wind that suddenly blew her way.

As Velvet wandered the streets of the olden town of Ulassai, there was one person that really stuck out to her. The girl definitely did not go along with the usual traditions of dress in the town, and looked almost -if not more- as outlandish as she did. Almost like a wizard that one would see from a fantasy book or of the sort. Though it did not seem the girl had yet taken notice to Velvet, so she took this change to approach her directly with a smirk. "This might be interesting..." she thought to herself.

As Velvet watched her, it seemed from her pacing and actions that she was maybe in search of something. Had she dropped her wallet or misplaced an items of hers by chance? Once close enough, Velvet would wave over to her. "Hey there," Velvet said, a voice that was not cold and mean, but not warm and affable neither. Dull and plain, devoid of any real emotion. "Did you drop something? You seem to be looking for something."

"Hmmm? what in turn made you think i lost something on the floor, young lady? i have lost something but it isn't something on the floor. i am looking for something that is hard to miss. why would it be on the floor? it would be consumed by anyone that appreciates a good drink." MAGES. said to the odd woman that approached her and decided to talk to her. MAGES. wanted to know why and if she was interested in helping to find the drink she wanted so much to have again. "the name is MAGES., what is you name young lady? umm... one second... hmm... alright... the organization has taken it from this universe too, it would seem... right... Loohcs tneve emag noitamina cisum. sorry, it was a phone call i needed to make. to continue, what is your name, Young lady?" MAGES. said in her usual calm tone, having her phone still in her hand and having her usual calm, collected look on her face.

When inquiring about what it seemed that she had lost, the girl would in turn speak of how what she lost was definitely on the floor, and how someone who wanted a good drink would have taken it. Would that mean it was some sort of refreshment or beverage of some sort? That, and it was a thing that was hard to miss. Shiny? Expensive? Large? The girl introduced herself as MAGES, a name that certianly could be implied by the way she dressed. Large, pointed wizard hat definitely could give the implication of a mage.

"My name is Ad-"

Before she could continue, the girl had taken out a cell phone, asking her to hold on one moment. Though Velvet found it a bit displeasing, a call was a call. Might be important. So she held off, waiting for her to finish her call, though Velvet did take notice things about "an organization" and "taking it from the universe" and finally ending it in a strange string of words Velvet did not recognize, even with her proficiency in a few languages outside the common tongue.

"Ahem. My name is Adel," Velvet finished, "Pleasure. So for this thing of yours... What exactly does it look like? I could keep an eye out for it and let you know about it if I stumble upon it."

"Adel.... i will remember that name. what i am looking for has disappeared from multiple dimensions. it is a delicious drink known simply as Duck tear popper. it is a drink for mad scientist and Magicians everywhere and is in a red can with the name on the side. if you notice a can of it, please give it to me. it may have a different name here but still.. please try to keep a eye for it. El Psy congroo. also, if you say my name, please remember the period. it is MAGES., not MAGES or Mages. please, it gets on my nerves if anyone gets it wrong. " MAGES. said in her calm tone as she would take out a picture of the drink Duck tear popper to show to Adel so then she knew what it looked like.

"A delicious drink, eh?" said Velvet, raising an eyebrow at her words. MAGES. went on to describe the strange concoction for scientists and magicians everywhere. Was it a safe assumption that MAGES. herself was one of the two, since she herself was in search of it? For a moment, Velvet wondered how many jewels she'd get if she pawned off an item like that. Maybe it had magical properties to it, or granted the user some power! With a smirk, Adel nodded. "Sure, I can keep an eye out. I'll let you know if I see anything," though the words were as empty as a desert. "I can easily make a few extra jewels off a thing like that," Velvet thought to herself. "Always nice to have a little extra cash in your pockets." Velvet even went further to extend her hand to MAGES., as if making a deal.

MAGES. went on about how if Velvet were to say her name, to not forget a period. Adel tilted her head, confused for a moment. Forget the period? As in pause each time after she said her name? With a shrug, Adel said ,"Sure, i'll try. Though don't expect me to remember it at first. It's... not the most common thing." Velvet leaned weight to her right leg, a hand on her hip and the other pushing her glasses that rested on the bridge of her nose, back onto her eyes. "So tell me of yourself; you seem like a pretty interesting girl."

hmm... this Adel girl was interesting, more so then most people MAGES. has encountered before, so interesting yet... it felt a little less impressive then most people would have thought. "as you know, my name is MAGES. but what you don't know is that i come from another world, one that is very different then this world or any world. i am a dimension traveler, traveling all the worlds to find the drink known as duck tear popper. i am a mage of intense magical prowess and skill. i use elemental and mechanical magic, so i am one of the only people to use a joined mash of magic. anything you'd like to say about yourself, Young madam?" MAGES. said in a calm tone, looking at the girl with a calm look on her face.

A demensional traveler, eh? Velvet chuckled under her breath, but tried not to make it too obvious to MAGES. This girl was from some other world outside of their own. Though Velvet knew of all the magic that flowed through the land, never had she heard of an extraplannar being. Velvet had her doubts, though none she voiced out loud. Instead she nodded along. "You must have seen some pretty crazy things in your travels then," she responded. "Ever see any aliens or crap like that?" Though jokingly it was, she sounded as sincere as she could in her words. A tongue of gold.

"Never heard of a dimensional traveler. Do you usually tell many people that? I think... It might cause some unwanted attention."

Velvet reclined back on one of the walls of a building, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a package of cigarettes. "Pardon me," she sighed as she lit one to her mouth. "Me? Well, there's honestly not too much to me. Just your average girl raised in your average little town..."

anything crazy? hmm... interesting. MAGES. had never actually thought of anything being crazy, just unusual and interesting, kinda like she was. "hmm... if strange, you mean interesting. nothing sparks crazy or strange in my mind. my IQ is far beyond to consider things strange. my IQ total is 364, the largest IQ known in my world. i don't tell people about being a dimensional traveler but i feel like i can trust you. that is rare for me to trust anyone from another dimension. as long as your not with the organization, you aren't considered a threat or a foe in my eyes. your not with the organization, are you? " MAGES. asked Adel in a curious yet hostile tone, looking a little angry but still calm, tipping her hat down to keep her annoyed look in her eyes from being discovered.

"IQ of 364?" Velvet looked up at this, raising an eyebrow with a smug smirk. "Then perhaps you know about the laws of quantum physics yourself with an IQ of that scale. Or perhaps what exactly dark matter is comprised of. Of course someone with that IQ would know those," Velvet chuckled. The smartest known person in her land had an IQ of around 190, maybe a little lower, so with an intelligence score of that degree, those things would be a walk in the park for her. Though Velvet herself vaguely knew the answers herself, she had a basic understanding.

"And the organization? Who'm exactly is that? I don't run with anybody that goes by that name. Does not even sound like my style," she responded.

"what are you babbling about? quantum physics? tch... those things are for people below my intellect. it is child's play. i have mastered the way to time travel and go through dimensions at will! Dark matter... that is what i use to help me with my dimensional travel and time travel. Dark matter is the substance of the entire universe and is why the entire universe looks black, where in fact the universe has no color. the dark matter makes us think the universe is black when it is colorless. " MAGES. explained in a cold yet calm tone, keeping it as simple as possible just in case Adel wasn't able to understand the in depth description of what she had asked MAGES..

When Adel asked what the Organization was, MAGES. sighed a breath of relief, as it seemed like the Organization wasn't around this world, yet. "the organization is the enemy of my lab and world. it has taken everything from me and my friends, including the life of my closest friend.... by shooting her. i... wasn't able to save her... not even by traveling back in time, trying to prevent her from dying... over... and over and over... seeing her die... has twisted me to take revenge on the Organization. they will pay for killing my friend and stealing everyone i love!!" MAGES. said in a tone of rage and hate towards the organization, as she hated them for what they did to her, her family, friends and all she knew.

It started out low, as a simple chortle, but turned into an all out burst of laughter, one that even made Velvet drop her cigarette on the floor. Velvet shook her head slowly, the laughs dying down as she looked up to MAGES., deep hazel eyes and a mouth with a large, smug smirk. "Some IQ," she said, already beginning to light another in place of the last. "If only it rivaled the size of your bust. If your chest was anything like your IQ, you might be mistaken as a man." Velvet winked at MAGES., just begging to elicit a response from her.

"Sucks to hear about your friend, but in a world like this, gotta keep yourself detatched. The moment you get close, things like that happen... Can't even trust the closest to you... But now that you mention it... the originization sounds familiar now." Velvet tapped her foot against the ground. "I might know a thing or two about them. The question is, what are you going to do to get said information?"

if her chest was like her IQ, then she wouldn't.... be mistaken... as a guy...? why the hell would anyone mistake MAGES. be mistaken as a guy?! just that sentence made MAGES. almost snap and uses her ultimate magic on Velvet but she needed to keep her calm so then she didn't destroy the entire town. "What.... are you saying?! are you trying to make me angry?! if you are, you are playing with fire! i am not one to be mistaken as a guy by anyone, as they are too afraid of the ultimate blend of science and magic! if your in with the organization, you will know my rage, and all the pain i felt." MAGES. said in a tone of rage and hatred, before breathing heavily to keep herself from using her most deadly spell.

Velvet, she was playing with fire if she thought it was funny to say what she did but what she said next made MAGES. calm down so then she could full understand her. "you... know something about the organization?! give me the information immediately! if you hold back any information, i will be forced to use any means necessary to get it. if you hold it back even if you get everything i own, i will use my most dangerous attack to get it out of you. give me it now, and i won't have to use it. i do not wish to hurt you, it would prove to be very bad. please give me the information you know, and i won't be forced to burn you into nothingness. i wish to not do that, as we seem to be getting along very well. " MAGES. said in her most convincing voice, showing that she didn't wish to cause any pain to anyone, as she was merciful and hated to hurt anyone that wasn't her enemy.
