II. APPEARANCE

General Appearance: Adele possess a tall and curvy hourglass figure, with a firmly built chest and long, muscle-toned legs which accentuate her hips and rear. Her poise and general posture is befitting of her noble background, and one can often find her seated quaintly with her legs folded one over the other. Adele's porcelain skin, sharp nose, and dainty lips are painted flawlessly across her slender face, while her strawberry blonde hair falls gracefully down to her shoulders. However, it is hair that she does not wear her hair up. A woman of extremes, Adele's high-fashion wardrobe consist of princess sleeves, long, flowing layered gowns, elegant cape jackets, and high heeled shoes. These outfits are typically worn with a matching corsage of appropriate arrangement and color, though her choice of flowers are often influenced by her mood and knowledge of floral language.
Extra: When the weather is appropriate, Adele will exchange her high-heeled shoes for designer sandals and du jour sunglasses.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Contrary to what her premier and Prima donna appearance might suggest, Adele is immensely bubbly and cheerful, and her compassion knows no bounds – her friends and family constantly describe her as a charming, carefree sort of girl. While she is capable of minding her manners in high society settings, she has never been one for an abundance of style and grace, and prefers to let loose at parties and public gatherings rather than remain quiet. She is also quite terrible at keeping secrets, and has proven to be incredibly gullible under any circumstance. Her most notable feature of all seems to be her friendless and talkatively – she will speak openly and genuinely to stranger and companion alike, and expects people to do the same; though this often causes her to wind up in a fair amount of trouble. Adele carries herself with both pride and confidence, and does not hesitate to speak her mind even when it would be wiser to keep one’s mouth shut. This leads her to be quite bold in social circumstances, but because her words are usually spoken out of honesty and compassion, she comes across as being more self-righteous than brash or arrogant. But this doesn't mean that Adele is without a vocal filter - she just prefers to tell the truth rather than make up lies for sake of social etiquette. She is a fantastic listener, and never interrupts her friends when they are speaking. While her advice isn't the best, she'll try to help anyone in any way she can if asked. If one were to get on her bad side, however, they would find that Adele’s fiery personality can lend itself to harsh words and stinging slaps to the face, though it is rare that she loses her patience outside of combat. In a fight, Adele goes all out - foregoing her friendliness for sake of a quick beat down, especially when fighting for the sake of others or a potential lover. Above all, this nobleman's daughter is just as passionate as the flames she controls, and a princess in her own right.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Fire Magic, 'Fleur Feu'
Caster or Holder: Caster Type
Description: As with any standard type of elemental magic, Adele is able to conjure, manipulate, and control white-hot flame, though combat seems to be its main purpose. Nicknamed 'Fleur Feu', Adele fights by igniting her legs and feet, and unleashing a flurry of dance-like, flaming kicks upon her foes.
Strengths: Fleur Feu's flashy white flames aren't just for show - Adele's fire magic burns at a high intensity and temperature, and she will often ignite her heels before each quick kick to deliver several bursts of flame to her opponent.
Weaknesses: Adele's magic seems to be limited only to the lower half of her body - she can only conjure her flames from below her waist, though would still be able to manipulate the fires of a burning building or person (or her own flames) using her hands. However, her fancy footwork fighting style requires the same fluidity and movement as a dance, leaving her offensive capabilities to be fairly constrained in small enclosures.

V. HISTORY

History: Adele has been planning her marriage ever since she was a young child. After reading far too many fairy tales and comic books, she began to picture her own prince charming coming to whisk her away on a pure white stallion to some far-off paradise.
The single child of a wealthy, foreign noble, Adele’s life has been filled with luxury and local fame for as long as she can remember. While not a genuine princess in title, Adele has been raised as such, and supported by a number of servants whom worked under her mother and father’s vast estate. The townspeople adored her, her family and childhood friend admired her, but still she wanted more. As soon as she was of age, she began searching for a suitable suitor to take her hand in marriage, but her findings were fraught with disappointment and heartbreak. Prestigious royal families would send their handsomest sons by carriage to meet her, but some sort of disaster always seemed to impede their visit, and when she finally did meet a ‘Mr. Right’, he would suddenly fall gravely ill or go missing the following weeks. When the suitors finally stopped coming for fear of suffering the same fate, Adele attempted other ways in attracting her true love – hoping to be rescued by her prince charming, she would purposely let herself be kidnapped by bandits, lock herself away in tall, treacherous towers, or charge into the lairs of terrifying beasts. Of course, the bandits who kidnapped her would eventually get fed up with her chatterbox nature and demands for a clean cell, or otherwise find her simply too sweet to mistreat and promptly go about her way. Towers got pretty boring after a while, and no horrifying beast ever seemed to pay her too much mind.
It seemed as though she was out of options - until a guild of mages passed through her hometown on their way back from a mission to stock up on supplies. Adele had one last idea – perhaps if she joined up with one of these guilds and became known throughout the land as an accomplished mage, surely someone out there would take notice and come to claim her. With this in mind, she devised a secret plan to escape from her family’s estate under the cover of night, and hitch a ride with a merchant caravan to the closest guild headquarters. Of course, she wound up telling this ‘secret’ plan to every one of her servants and attendants, and word soon reached her father. Being a kind, caring man, Adele’s father was perfectly accepting of his daughter wanting to become a mage, and would have gladly helped her had she asked. Though not wanting her daughter to come under any harm, he hired a chauffeur to disguise himself as a travelling merchant and meet his daughter after her escape, and take her straight to Magnolia Town.
Adele was none the wiser, and to this day still believes that she managed to escape from her estate without her family finding out. After her arrival, she promptly joins Fairy Tail in hopes of finding a husband and bringing her family’s name glory through her accomplishments.
