Winter Kiryuu

   Winter Kiryuu Kh72kNu
   __________________________________________________
"My frozen passion roars just as loud as any dragon."

Name(s): Winter Kiryuu
Nickname(s): Snowflake, Wolf Child, Cold One, Black Blizzard
Age: 19, Nineteen
Sex: Male
Birthday: 12/06/X762
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Class: Scout
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Rank: B-Class. [Free Rank]
Guild: Crime Sorciere
Guild Tattoo: Right Shoulder
Face Claim: Yuri Lowell - Tales of Vesperia

II. APPEARANCE

Height: 5'9"
Weight: 135lbs
Hair: Violet
Eyes: Amethyst
General Appearance: The average youth in terms of height and weight, its Winter's unique traits and genetics that make it easy to pick him out from a crowd. His violet colored hair ripples down his back with a liquid-like flow, his eyes seemingly the color of gems, crystal facets of amethyst that sparkle in the sun. Skin the color of cream, both smooth and untouched, its no wonder many of the opposite sex find him savory. Even when his patron sarcasm finds its way on his face, quirking his lip up just a tad and placing a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

Extra: His skin may seem untouched, however, that is a veil. His clothes cover up his imperfections; three clawed scars start at the back of his shoulder and stretch across his arms and to his side. And a nasty bite is stretched across his right calf.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: At heart, he is a simple boy with a childish view of the world. To him, most things are shaded in black and white, good or evil, justice of injustice. So it should be pretty obvious which side he would choose. That however, is actually pretty hard. He considers himself a neutral party in the world's conflicts, following his heart the best he can. On top of his own moral compass, Winter is, despite his namesake, warm and energetic. He voices himself in a crude manner and speaks with everyone on equal terms. Despite his brutish beginnings, he's found cheer and bliss with his Foster Father: Blizzander, along with a silver tongue and flirtatious appetite for the opposite sex.

On a odd note, he is extremely forgetful. Usually his lack of memory spawns from a serious injury he sustained earlier in his youth but he's long since forgotten how it happened. Occasionally it'll re spawn vividly but quickly leaves him a moment afterwards. He is fearless in combat and fierce when it comes to his own goals. Despite his intense loyalty, he has yet to find anyone to share it with.

Motivations: Winter is motivated by Blizzander's wish for him to live. If only to live, then he will continue to breath and push forth through life. It's been a short while since his own brush with death and since then, he's learned that giving up should never be a option. He also enjoys a good fight, so it doesn't hurt that finding strong opponents throughout the world is possible due to him living. He's also pretty much in love with finding treasure.

Fears:

  • The Vast Ocean
  • Loud Thunder
  • Ghosts
  • Heights
  • Nuns

Positive Traits

  • Animal Affinity (+2): You are good with animals.
    Explanation: Self explanatory.

  • Animal Tongue (+4): You are capable of speaking with animals.
    Explanation: Self explanatory.

  • Regeneration (+4): You heal very fast inside and outside of combat. Small cuts that go up to one inch deep are healed in the next post.
Explanation: C Rank damage healed every post.

  • Daunting Presence (+2): You are skilled at inducing fear in your opponents.
Explanation: Players of lesser rank cannot initiate combat against you, but are capable of defending themselves.

Negative Traits

  • Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
Explanation: You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good.

  • Compulsive Honesty (-2): You cannot tell a lie, nor can you behave in a deceitful fashion. You tend to be blunt rather than tactful, even if it means insulting someone who you and your companions are trying to impress.
Explanation: You can't lie and you will tell the truth when someone asks you something instead of lying. So if your team is impressing an ogre and the ogre asks if you guys are truly from the guild you guys claimed you were and lied about it, you will screw it up and say the truth

  • Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.

  • Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
Explanation: You may act differently when money comes into play.

  • Harbinger of Ill Omen (-1): You seem to be cursed to forever bump into a specific person, time and time again. Each time you do, something bad happens not long afterward. This person in no way does this purposefully, it just happens with alarming frequency.
Explanation: You will have character assigned to you by roleplay department of staff who will enter you threads randomly from time to time. When this happens, staff will change the conditions of your thread against you. Such as heavy storm, avalanches or beasts catching onto your smell.

  • Inattentive (-1): Your mind has a habit of drifting off at inopportune moments. It flits from one thought to the next so fast that you have trouble getting it to concentrate on the here and now. As such, you are particularly unaware of your surroundings.
Explanation: You must drift off at least one out of five posts.

  • Indecisive (-1): You have been known to hesitate when faced with difficult choices or split-second decisions. If forced to choose between letting a villain escape and rescuing a loved one from being lowered into a snake pit, you're likely to agonize over the situation until something--perhaps a cry for help from your sweetheart--forces your hand.
Explanation: You take too much time when making decisions. You can never instantly make a decision when it is presented to you.

  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play. (Pushy People, Dead-Set Mindsets)

  • Overconfident (-1): Nothing is beyond your capabilities. If you wanted, you could defeat the best swordsman in the world; you just haven't had any reason to do so yet. And surely that chasm isn't too wide for you to leap across.
Explanation: You are easily goaded, and anyone attempting to taunt you will succeed.

  • Star-crossed (-1): You keep falling in love with the wrong people. You're the common soldier who falls in love with the king's daughter at first sight, or the hero who falls for the villain's daughter without knowing who she is.
Explanation: You fall in love with every enemy you meet (that's your specie).

  • Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
Explanation: You can never flee from a fight with someone who is stronger than you.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Ice Dragon Slayer (氷の滅竜魔法)
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Ice Dragon Slayer Magic is a type of Lost Magic which gives the user characteristics of a Ice Dragon. As a result, users can transform their bodies with features of ice in mind, utilizing both offensive and defensive styles. This allows users to produce, manipulate and control the element of ice as well. A Ice Dragon Slayer is immune to the effects of their own element to a degree, and can consume external sources of ice to replenish their strength. However, a Ice Dragon Slayer cannot consume ice that they produce themselves, and elements must be consumed through the mouth.

Strengths: Ice Dragon Slayer magic allows for the user to utilize the element in the most efficient and natural way possible. Being taught by the sentient creatures of their element, beasts that once roamed the lands as gods, a Ice Dragon Slayer has access to the versatility and complex levels that is offer by the element Ice. One of the extremes of the world's temperatures, not many can argue about its users being dangerous. Unlike Ice-Make, users of Ice Dragon Slayer magic is not constrained to simply creating weapons or constructs and instead is capable of using its sheer force against their opponents. They can make it blunt in nature, along as fluid and many other forms. Innately, users of this magic have a very cold presence about them, lowering the temperature in the area they reside in. The cold doesn't seem to affect them at all.

Weaknesses: Ice Dragon Slayer magic comes with its elemental weakness. The ice formed is stronger than regular ice, so it takes a bit more force to cripple it. Regular old fire magic might not cut it at first, though it would obviously makes its users uncomfortable. Besides the fire from another Slayer, Ice Dragon Slayers magic don't really carry many severe threats to them. Ice is a rare substance outside of tundra-like areas so its rare for them to replenish themselves. Another weakness is the Ice Dragon Slayer's inability to consume the ice of either the God Ice Slayer or the Demon Ice Slayer. Besides that, it seems they are a neutral party in the world.

V. HISTORY

History: Winter was born to a tribe of barbaric vanguards, nomads that traveled Fiore under the name of Kiryuu. A tribe of forty to fifty men, women, and children; all of them trained in the fine art of magical battle. They searched throughout the land for mystical magics, lost and forbidden alike. At the head of this clan was Kiryuu, himself. A man whose blood led back to the first Kiryuu ever to exist. It had been twenty years before his first child would arrive, a feat that seemed almost bazaar compared to the earlier reproduction of the rest of the clan.

When his son came out looking more like his mother than Kiryuu himself, the head became angered. He could not have a child that appeared weak in any way or form. With knotted muscles rippling through his body, the head tossed the boy's body down the frozen summit of Mt. Hakobe to show his conviction and mercilessness. With several, dead-pan and heart-breaking thumps, the child's wails were finally released. It was a scream of humanity, that soon turned into a furious roar, one that shook the very foundation of the mountain the Kiryuu clan stood on.

The story goes that the Dragon tore that clan asunder, leaving only the parents of the child alive, so that he could seek his revenge against them. Or, atleast that was the fairy tale that Blizzander told Winter when he was little. As far as he knew, Blizzander has always been around. The Frosty Dragon was the king of his wintry domain, taking out the natural apex predators with ease and teaching Winter everything a human should know. Through brutal training Winter grew up into a powerful young lad, strayed from humanity for the majority of his life.

Upon leaving Blizzander, far earlier than most would their own parents. Winter traveled around Fiore, fulfilling his heart's own desire. He saved a few people, met a few people, and killed a few people. However, no sense of guilt weighed down on his heart for those deaths. Because they weren't against his own morals. Eventually, he found Crime Sorciere and he was quick to join the guild. They were neither good or evil but a neutral party. And that was something he could agree with. Soon afterwards, he returned to Blizzander's cavern, only to find his past carved in ice. The giant runes were obviously done by Blizzander but he was no longer around.
