II. APPEARANCE

General Appearance:
Physically, Draisaitl is a tall, muscular man with a decent body weight along with what some would deem a wild appearance. His cheekbones tend to stick out thus causing the skin behind the bones to cave inwards. An interesting feature about Draisaitl is that he has hairless eyebrow ridges. For a guy who is not too much into fashion, Draisaitl has two ways of doing his hair; keeping it in many stiff strands or keeping it somewhat downwards. Another distinguishing feature Draisaitl bears his the scar that runs down the left side of his face, causing him to look a tad bit more menacing.

Clothing wise, Draisaitl is not a man of fashion. When it comes to clothing, he tends to wear the same thing over and over again, wearing it out and upon doing so, he just purchases the same thing once more to keep the cycle going. Currently, he tends to wear a sleeveless haori, a hip/thigh length kimono-like jacket, over top a separate black outfit. Wearing it so much has caused it too look ragged but that more so suits Draisaitl. This outfit is worn by Draisaitl either in battle or formally. Lastly, Draisaitl bears a black eye patch over his right eye, more so appearance than anything. He is capable of seeing out of the right eye but tends to keep it on for the hell of it.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality:
Draisaitl is a stubborn, strong-willed fella without a care of those around him. He can be somewhat selfish and even self-absorbed, something that most people might not see on a daily basis. Something he does show openly though his has blatant hatred towards different figures of authority. With this in mind, Draisaitl feels little incentive to follow rules that have already been placed out by others. The only rules he will follow are his own but even then, he can tend to question his own rules and disregard them. He has a reputation for being rather foul mouthed which mixes well with his intimidation factor.

Sparring wise, Draisaitl does not show mercy all that often but when it comes to fighting mages that are a lot weaker than he is, he will only use spells accordingly unless pissed off. Often, he likes to kill the people he is fighting off as if they live, it will make Draisaitl feel weak for letting someone escape his clutches. Along with this, sparring allows Draisaitl to further his strength in both magic capabilities and hand-to-hand combat.

Draisaitl can also come off as a sarcastic person. He tends to poke jokes around without a care for who he will offend. In his eyes, if he is being sarcastic, no one should get mad but this is also hypocritical. If someone were to poke a joke at him, he himself would get upset and cause an uproar, causing him to act tough and lash out at whoever joked around. A drunk Draisaitl is a whole different story. Drunk Draisaitl means a fun Draisaitl. Whenever he can get his hands on alcohol or wine, he drinks it all up and tends to act a bit over his head. He can become a drama queen with out knowing it. While being drunk, he will often tend to use his magic to impress everyone and cause crowds to form, something that he likes very much is attention so in short, he is an "attention whore". He loves having all eyes on him as it makes him feel like man of the hour.

When Draisaitl is serious, that is when he is most productive. He is not just a person who disregards his guild master duties and focuses on just getting stronger and stronger. No. He is a man who can sit down for a few hours and spend time working on paper work. For someone who is selfish, he will put his guild in front of himself as the guild is his baby. He made a promise to the previous guild master that he would ensure Arch Erebus reach the ranks of one of the strongest guilds in Fiore and that is what he plans on doing. He often stays at the guild to ensure that everything is in tip-top condition. He enjoys providing requests for his guild to see who is stronger than who. However, since he wants his guild become stronger, sacrifices must be made. In the case of making his guild stronger, people he feels do not fit his bill or do not go on requests and simply stay put in the guild often get dismissed from his guild. That is how life works and he will often remind people of that.

In short, Draisaitl is a man with many sides. He can be goofy at one moment and serious in the next. He can be caring another moment and hateful the very next. Everything that determines the mood Draisaitl is in is basically based off the flow of whatever is happening around him. However, this can cause Draisaitl to be unpredictable which can be good. Basically, all this is a recipe for disaster.

Motivations:

  • Arch Erebus: Ever since Draisaitl took over the Arch Erebus guild, he has put his heart and soul into it. One of the reasons he has gotten so strong is so that he could defend the guild whenever the need be. If anyone were to attack the guild and get past his "peons", he could step into action and defend his guild. If it were to get destroyed, it would just ignite a fire under his heart and things would turn for the worst.
  • Wizard Daemon: The equivalent to the strongest light mages is the Wizard Daemons, the strongest dark mages. Ever since Draisaitl became Guild Master of Arch Erebus, he made it his goal to get himself known as a mage the world would fear upon hearing his very name.
  • Getting Stronger: Being the strongest mage in his guild, and one of the strongest ranks in the Wizard world, Draisaitl has wanted to become even stronger and create a rank of his very own. Being S-rank is great and all but not for Draisaitl, he needs to get stronger to fill his thirst of power.
  • Extras: To kill Cyrene, His name being heard everywhere, causing destruction


Fears:

  • Tight Spaces: Draisaitl has a fear of tight spaces, otherwise known as claustrophobia. For some strange reason, ever since birth, the idea of being stuck in a room that offers little to no space just causes Draisaitl to become frightened.
  • Transportation: A cliche is your a dragon slayer. For some strange reason, moving vehicles (or anything that moves) causes Draisaitl to receive motion sickness and causes his to vomit and become weak.
  • His work going to waste: This is a solid fear that truly strikes fear into Draisaitl. The last thing he wants is all his hard work of achieving his status, becoming a Guild Master, etc, going to waste in a matter of minutes. All it takes is one loss in a fight and your career is done and that is the last thing Draisaitl wants.  
  • Extras: Death, Insects, Becoming a slave once more

  • Aloof (-1): You can't act nice to people and you can't make friends easily
  • Ambitious (-1): You crave power. Money is nice, but being in charge of other people is your favorite thing. You are likely to be brought down by attempting a risky grab for power and failing. Even when deals are risky you will give in and agree most of times.
  • Arrogant (-1): You firmly believe that you are better than anyone else is. Your ideas are the best, your clothes are the most stylish, and you have to let everyone else know how much better you are. Once in a while you openly show contempt or disdain for someone else.
  • Bad Reputation (-1) - Causing merciless destruction to towns in the past:You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
  • Branded (-2) - Former Slave (Scar dug into on left side of face): You have fled for a crime committed and now have a prominent brand. You may have been a criminal, a slave, or some other such illicit individual. The brand is such that it cannot be easily covered, and a cursory search reveals it each time. Law enforcement agents of any lawful land will immediately take you into custody if they see the mark, for extradition or imprisonment. It is your choice as to whether or not you were falsely accused of the crime.
  • Cruel (-1): You have a sadistic streak that causes you to perform acts of cruelty for no good reason. Of course, this doesn't endear you to others. Most times you are prudent enough to carry out your cruelties on those under your thumb, rather than those you see as equals. However, you carry a constant social stigma, as rumors have their way of getting around.
  • Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.
  • Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
  • Claustrophobia:
  • Extravagant (-2): You enjoy living in the lap of luxury. Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. In addition, any equipment or services you purchase cost 10% more than the standard rate for the locale you are currently in. The best of the best always costs more, after all.
  • Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
  • Hedonistic (-1): You love a good time. You party too much, drink too much, and eat too much. You have trouble resisting an invitation to join someone in a drink and sometimes shirk your duty if offered a more enjoyable time elsewhere. Whenever a good time is presented you let your guard down. You're also not capable to resist seduction of any sort. It's just not in your nature to resist such opportunities.
  • Intolerance (-1) -Insects-: You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
  • Overconfident (-1): Nothing is beyond your capabilities. If you wanted, you could defeat the best swordsman in the world; you just haven't had any reason to do so yet. And surely that chasm isn't too wide for you to leap across.
  • Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.


IV. MAGIC

Magic: Dragon Slayer Magic - Emerald 
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:
Emerald Dragon Slayer magic gives the user the ability to transform their body into that of the Emerald Dragon Slayer. This magic allows the user to use emerald as either an offensive or defensive manner. This allows for great versatility giving the user many options on the battlefield. Another neat thing about Dragon Slayer's is that they have the ability to consume their own element, which in turn can enhance certain strengths such as speed, strength, etc. Emerald in itself is a strong gemstone meaning a lot of the spells used are defensive giving them bulk.
Strengths:

  • Dragon's have the ability to consume their own element, in this case Emerald. This can either be done in a battle or in a casual RP topic
  • Elementally, Emerald is stronger than water magic
  • Having both offensive and defensive capabilities, this magic has both ranged uses along with close range giving it versatility. Examples include emerald darts for long range and an emerald sphere for close range
  • In terms of close range, the user can also create a weapon of emerald adding strength when in hand-to-hand combat.

Weaknesses:

  • Although the user can consume their own element, they CANNOT consume anything produced by themselves. For example, the user cannot consume emerald they have created themselves.
  • Elementally, Emerald is weak against fire magic 
  • A mandatory weakness, that can be used in battle or in causal RP topics, is motion weakness. Any type of transportation causes motion sickness to occur
  • Being a mage with a lost magic such as Dragon Slayer, Leon is not capable of using Secondary/Tertiary magic



V. HISTORY

History: Born on July 6, X752 was a healthy boy. This healthy boys name was soon to become Leon Draisaitl, his first name being that of his father and his last name being the family name of course. His parents went by the names Leon and Vivian Draisaitl. With what seemed to be a royal sounding last name was in fact the exact opposite. The Draisaitl family was that of a poor village near the outskirts of South Fiore. They had a nice house for themselves along with a little garden in which they grew their own crops to earn money. Every other family apart of this unknown village lived the same way, relying on crops for money. Upon getting their crops ready, they would take it to the larger towns deep within Fiore and would sell them to shops there in exchange for solid money. That is what Draisaitl grew up doing for the sake of his "beloved" family.

Draisaitl began this money making trek at the age of 5 when he could first speak. He continued to do so until he reached the age of 7 making quite a bit of money as he did. However, he was never able to use this money for the things he wanted as this money would go towards paying off the house mortgage the family owned to the village leader. The interest of the houses were so high that it was impossible for any family to pay off any type of loans they took from the leader. No matter how much money they made, it was not enough and things took a turn for the worst when Draisaitl's 8th birthday came. Upon turning 8, Draisaitl's family was struck by a tragedy no one saw coming. Vivian, his mother, was struck with a terrible disease that paralyzed her entire body, putting her in the bed forever. This news struck the family hard, especially Draisaitl as he loved his mother very much, more so than his father. However, not only did this news burden the family emotionally, but it also drained them financially as the calling the doctor and performing X-rays cost a lot of money and thus, the family would have to pay off even more interest towards the leader. At this point, nearly everything had turned to hell for Draisaitl.

Life was just not getting easier for Draisaitl as his mother was no bed-ridden and his father was an alcoholic, spending most of the earned money towards alcohol more than anything. At this point, his father had only one option to help pay off his wife's bill and that would be to sell Draisaitl to the leader in exchange to reprehend the payments for his wife. Draisaitl was unaware of this and thus was going to see the leader blindly with his father. Within a week of thinking of this, Leon took action and took his son to the leader. Within minutes of useless bargaining, the leader had bought Draisaitl from Leon and thus, he was now apart of the leaders army. In the first couple of days, Draisaitl was told that he was here to help pay off his mothers medical bills but he learned the hard way that was not true. Upon noticing there were hundreds of other kids along with some adults trapped in the area that Draisaitl was working the fields, he found out that he was now a slave all because of his father. Little did he know the reason why he was a slave but all he needed to know was that his father bailed on him and thus Draisaitl would do the same. He rid himself of his first name and sword that he would only go by his last name, never wanting to hear the name of his father again. This event signified a change within Draisaitl and would awaken the beast within him. The leader within him had awoken.

Now at the great double digit age of 10, Draisaitl had managed to rise to the leader of the slaves and had made sure every person trapped with him would listen to his every words and that they would. He made promises to them, struck fear into every tiny heart there was and that was what any great leader would do in his eyes. At this point, who would have thought children could revolt against an entire village? None of them really did but with Draisaitl by their side, they would rise to the top. Draisaitl went ahead and began the revolt. The slaves went up against the leader and their soldiers. It was fierce battle fought till the very end and no matter how many lives were lost, Draisaitl came on top. In the end, all the members of his party and the leaders party were killed off, leaving Draisaitl to be the head as he himself killed the leader. However, he had sworn off this bastard of a village as he found no reason to help the people who betrayed him. With that, he left the village alone and became a nomad, wandering wherever his feet took him.

Now 11, Draisaitl had been walking around with no clear attention of what to do with his life. He had not thought of what he would do and where he would end up but he was going wherever his little legs took him. Little did he know that he would end up meeting a dragon, a beast so feared no one dared to speak of them. Let alone ever speaking of a dragon, Draisaitl was now about to meet one and this is where his life would reach a climax, at least for now.

While wandering through a forest, Draisaitl was dehydrated with being able to find no water. At this point, he collapsed and landed on the soft ground where he passed out. Within minutes, he was awoken by a warm flare that came from beside him. Upon waking up, he noticed a strange beast and simply stared it down. The beast would communicate with Draisaitl telepathically, stating that its name was Cyrene, the Emerald Dragon. Draisaitl had never heard of what dragons were so upon hearing an explanation and a back story, he wanted to be a dragon himself just like Cyrene. The closest he could get to becoming a Dragon would be by learning the secret lost magic known as Dragon Slayer magic, something that could only be taught by a dragon originally. She vowed that she would take in Draisaitl as her pupil if he promised to use his magic for good and that was what he had promised he would do. So for the next 3 years, he spent training and mastering the basics of the magic before advancing to intermediate levels of the magic. In no time, he had mastered the magic and could use spells of the emerald dragon with ease. Just like he wanted, he had become a dragon and life was at its finest, or so he thought.

Upon waking up one day, Draisaitl had come to know that Cyrene, his dragon, had taken off without even letting him know. There was no note or anything stating where she had gone but he himself could understand she had left. This brought tears to his eyes as he had now been betrayed twice in his life and he had enough. The magic he had been taught to be used for good would meet a new goal, Draisaitl's goal. He had made a promise to himself that wherever he would go, he would cause destruction so people could feel what it was like to have the pain like him. After a while of doing this, it led him deeper into Fiore where he had come across a building that was located idly in a town. The building was called a guild and the name was Arch Erebus.

Draisaitl manged to wander into the guild and notice a lot of people were there, including a large fellow standing in the middle of the guild. He noticed Draisaitl and asked him what he was doing, before noticing that he had come to join the guild. The master claimed he would undergo a trial by defeating some of his mages. Upon giving him the command to go ahead, he had defeated everyone was he told and with the most ease ever. The guild master was surprised of course and never knew a kid possessed so much magic. With this, he inducted him into the guild and noticed him grow from there. In 14 years, Draisaitl grew to the ranks of becoming the strongest mage in Arch Erebus and claimed the throne of Ace as his own. In those 14 years, Draisaitl had caused much chaos in towns, destroying things and causing misery. His tales would be told all through Fiore from how he defeated an entire light guild himself to how he nearly destroyed an entire town without trying. These were fierce tales that would help his reputation as a mage grow.

Now at the age of 28, the Guild Master had decided it was time to take his absence, dismissing himself of the duties he once held. What came next was of no surprise to anyone. Upon declaring his absence, the Guild Master chose Draisaitl as the next Guild Master, stating he fit his criteria perfectly. With that done, the previous Guild Master left and put the burden of Arch Erebus on Draisaitl's shoulders.

Welcome Mr. Katari, I shall be grading your app. today. ^_^

Motivations: People with limited/banned magic are not allowed a secondary so I'm going to have to ask you to take the motivation of achieving a secondary magic out.

Negative Traits: Add in where your branding is.

Magic: Take this, 'User cannot consume spells that are higher than what the rank of the mage is (A-rank cannot consume S-rank spell). If done so, user will take damage rather being replenished which is not all too well' out for now. You do not need another weakness to compensate for this but if you really wanted you could add the given that you wouldn't be able to acquire a secondary/tert. magic. Also, you would be strong against water & weak against fire. (Note that the last portion involving weaknesses and strengths is subject to be changed.)

I asked you to put where your branding was not how you got it. Fix this and you're good to go. Also, with your magic the sole strengths and weaknesses elemental wise would be water and fire. Take out any mentions of any other elements, please.

Upon becoming Guild Master, Draisaitl stated the guild would receive a great change and become stronger from him being there. He started by dismissing everyone from the guild and starting from scratch, allowing anyone to join. The image of his guild had changed and so had he. Who once a man that did not know what to do with his life had now become a dictator, and a mighty fine one at that. In the next 4 years, the complexion of the guild had changed and hopefully for the better. What ever was to happen next to the guild or him will only be told from this point on... <-- Also fix this. You're a new gm, you haven't been in power for four years. It may be your wording or whatever but in the site canon you're counted as new.
