Age: 18
Sex: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual
Class: Mystic
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Rank: D
Guild: Phantom Lord
Guild Tattoo: Right side of his chest opposite his heart - Dark Blue
Face Claim: Tatsuya Shiba - The Irregular at Magic High School
II. APPEARANCE
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 152 lbs.
Hair: Dark Black and straight, reaching down to just above the nose at the front and down his neck at the back
Eyes: Crystal Blue
General Appearance:
Although not being extremely athletic Pietro is still physically fit with sufficient muscle distributed throughout his body, meaning he's got everything an adolescent male would want. Although he is light skin he is not pale, maintaining a healthy complexion without any signs of blemishes or hair on his face. He's been noted to have a small face, from his ears to his nose to his mouth, although upon taking a second look most would find they are actually proportionate to his head. His jet black hair comes to a point all around and sways carefree as he never bothers to keep it in check, it manages itself and for that he's grateful. His eyes are a crystal blue, giving off a sort of soulless look that can quickly be turned into a harsh stare that seems to look straight through most people. From top to bottom he is proportionate for his height. In order to maintain a clean cut appearance Pietro makes sure his finger nails are always filed and his eyebrows are thin and sharp.
As far as clothing goes Pietro prefers to remain comfortable while still looking sharp and presentable. Keeping this in mind for the most part you'll find him in a cream colored white striped dress shirt with solitary black lines on the parts of the collar that are spaced apart. Along with this he wears a solid black tie. Over the shirt and tie he wears what appears to be a uniform, in white, black, and green. The uniform is opened at the chest to allow the shirt and tie underneath to be seen while the rest of it is buttoned closed. Along the uniform are several belts that serve no purpose other than for aesthetics and on his left arm close to the shoulder is a patch with his guilds symbol on it. At the waist he wears a belt matching the one's scattered about his uniform, also for aesthetics because he doesn't need them to keep his pants up. Said pants are the same color as well as a matching pattern as his uniform. For footwear Pietro decides to go with black sneakers.
Extra: From time to time Pietro wears black gloves. Also, along his back are various scars from burns to cuts to stab marks.
III. PERSONALITY
Personality: Pietro is by no means a kind person, he has far too much dislike and hate for other human beings to ever show any signs of kindness. In fact, he shows no signs of emotion at all times, coming across as soulless to anyone and everyone he meets. Most people who know him actually believe this as well. He prefers to be left alone at all times, appreciating the peace and quiet that comes with his solitude, not to mention just about everything he's accomplished he did while he was alone. Despite this however Pietro more or less refuses to be rude to someone, treating people with the respect he believes they deserve and expecting them to return the favor. He does not take being disrespected well and will deal with the individual however he deems necessary. Violence only begets more violence but he doesn't care about that in the least, Pietro will do whatever he has to in order to get what he wants. However, this doesn't mean he'll go out and slaughter people in droves and break the law, that's stupid and crazy and quite frankly serves no purpose. He will function as a law abiding citizen and follow whatever rules have been set out for him by his guild but only so long as they are beneficial to them, the minute they aren't he will abandon them and do as he pleases.
Although it is possible to annoy and anger him it is impossible to get Pietro riled up, he will always remain calm and composed no matter what it is that's thrown at him. Pietro by no means considers himself to be better than anyone else, just simply more capable than most. Although he knows he isn't the strongest he will not back down from someone who greatly surpasses him in strength and skill, he will never walk away from a fight because it is simply an obstacle he needs to overcome. Pietro wants to get stronger and become a powerful wizard, he wants to accomplish a great deal in his life although what he'll accomplish he doesn't know, he simply wants to be remembered in history as someone great. Pietro would also be considered an atheist, although he doesn't exactly find it foolish to believe in a higher being he himself doesn't bother doing so, he knows full well that it won't get him anywhere and even if a god did exist it probably turned it's back on him a very long time ago.
Likes:
- Solitude Maintaining a certain dislike for just about everyone Pietro prefers to alone at all times of the day as well as the night. When met with large groups or crowds he'll do his best to keep away from people and be off on his own, avoiding conversation and whatnot at all costs. Although he would prefer not to take drastic measures if someone is constantly preventing him from being alone he will do what is necessary to make sure people stay away from him. If people run in fear at the mere sight of him then so be it, that just makes it easier for him to be alone and enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with it.
- Learning: Going hand in hand with his solitude Pietro enjoys taking any chance he can get to learn about something new, being naturally curious as well as intelligent calls for him to satiate both. Besides learning things such as general knowledge that can be found in a book he also enjoys learning more about his own form of magic. New spells can always come in handy after all. To Pietro training is a form of learning, it allows you to know what your limits are and gives you the chance to surpass them, and in a sense your body is learning how to be stronger. So for the most part if you don't find him reading something you'll find him practicing his magic or training his physical abilities.
- Music Much to most people's surprise Pietro rather enjoys music although he has his own personal taste and cares nothing for whatever doesn't fall within that spectrum. Despite enjoying being alone more than just about anything Pietro will not mind the presence of someone playing an instrument so long as they don't bother him. Some people say he has a little more tolerance for those with musical prowess although he himself is not sure, as far as he is concerned he treats everyone equally.
- Getting What He Wants: In this aspect Pietro can be considered quite selfish but he doesn't give a damn, he's never been the kind of person to care about what others think about him. He enjoys getting what he wants whether it's material possessions or accomplishing whatever he set out to do. Getting jobs done is nice but nothing quite beats getting his point across and making a statement that he's someone you don't want to mess with, actually, to be safe you'd want to have nothing to do with him.
Dislikes:
- People: Pure and simple Pietro has a dislike for just about anyone
and everyone, he has varying levels of hate depending on personalities and whatnot but he hasn't yet come across a person he hasn't either hated or disliked. As to be expected Pietro will do just about anything in his power to stay away from others, always preferring to work and train alone. When it comes to his guild members he doesn't exactly hate or dislike them but he'd still prefer to be away from them, he sees them either as equals or superior to himself and that's about it. - Mercy: Something that Pietro absolutely hates is the showing of mercy, it doesn't matter the situation, you either go full out or you don't bother doing anything at all. Pietro will never show mercy to anyone he comes across and refuses to have it shown on himself. The consequences will be dire to anyone who dares to show mercy on him, they will find themselves a dangerous enemy who will attempt to wipe them off the face of the earth should the opportunity arise. To Pietro, when you show mercy towards someone you are considering them weak, you believe they are incapable of taking everything you have to throw at them, which only adds insult to injury.
- Being Badgered: Pietro seldom has conversations with people, he barely even says a few words actually, but for some reason people occasionally ask him to do something. Not wanting to be rude Pietro accepts for the most part, although he believes once he says yes to doing a favor that should be the end of it. To him it is wrong and extremely annoying to constantly ask someone if they have completed said task yet. He will get around to doing it when he is good and ready and not a moment before, anyone who bothers him repeatedly will face the consequences. This happens to add a bit to why he doesn't associate with anyone, they all happen to annoy him at one time or another.
- Rudeness: Even if someone happened to be raised by wild animals that's no excuse to be rude. Every human being should be capable of knowing how to speak to others and how to handle situations with a little decorum, at the very least you should be able to properly address someone and introduce yourself. It's also quite rude to excessively swear, there are times when the situation calls for it but to do so every other word is ridiculous. Sometimes people deserve respect, how you feel about them doesn't matter, and if you refuse to show them any respect then that just makes you look bad. Although he dislikes people Pietro is still more than capable of being polite and respectful.
Motivations: The only thing that really drives Pietro is his refusal to be forgotten. There's nothing he would hate more than dying without accomplishing something that would have the world remember his name. It matters not what exactly it is that he does, so long as his name carries on in history long after he is gone. Of course he's sure he'd be remembered as a monster or some kind of fearsome and terrifying wizard, and he's just fine with that. To Pietro if you die and you can't be remembered then you never really lived in the first place, you were nothing more than an empty husk wandering aimlessly day in and day out with the only purpose in life to wait for death.
Fears:
- Dying Young: Although Pietro doesn't exactly fear death he would greatly prefer not to die before he becomes powerful and well known. Dying without having accomplished anything great would basically mean that he not only wasted his life but he wasn't good enough to live a life worth leading. To Pietro dying before he can have his name remembered is something he'd really rather not think of. It's true the odds of it happening aren't tremendous but it's still always a possibility.
- Destruction Of His Guild: Even though it is true that Pietro doesn't care much for his fellow guildmates he would still prefer to not see the whole thing come crashing down around him. Of course this is purely because it's the only place he can really call home. Most people there allow him to do as he pleases and leave him alone, and if it were gone there's a chance he wouldn't be able to find anywhere else to go. And honestly it would be a tremendous pain to start over when it comes to having people leave him alone.
Positive Traits:
- Agile (+3): You are particularly flexible and poised.
- Alertness (+2): You have finely tuned senses.
- Diehard (+2): You can remain conscious after attacks that would
fell others. - Fortitude (+3): You are tougher than normal. You can take more
hits than the regular Joe. - Regeneration (+4): You heal very fast inside and outside of combat. Small cuts that go up to one inch deep are healed in the next post.
- Swift (+3): You are fleet of foot. When running, you move three times your normal speed.
Negative Traits:
- Aloof (-1): Your manner is cold and unapproachable, distancing you from friends and strangers alike. Your preternatural intelligence lends itself to viewing others as slow-witted and a waste of your precious time. Your charisma is lowered.
Explanation: You can't act nice to people and you can't make friends
easily. - Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. (Pietro is known for not being very patient or merciful when dealing with people, he'll ask someone something once before resorting to violence)
Explanation You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good. - Bravado (-2): You are rash in combat, refusing to show weakness by falling back from your enemies' blows. You either face it and stop it, or get hit in the progress. In addition, you cannot fight defensively.
Explanation: You can't create any defensive spells. Offensive spells are made to inflict damage while defensive spells do not inflict any damage at all and are made to prevent damage. - Cruel (-1): You have a sadistic streak that causes you to perform acts of cruelty for no good reason. Of course, this doesn't endear you to others. Most times you are prudent enough to carry out your cruelties on those under your thumb, rather than those you see as equals. However, you carry a constant social stigma, as rumors have their way of getting around.
Explanation: You must perform an act of cruelty one out of five posts. - Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This
can result into getting you into very dangerous situations. - Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.
Explanation: You can't refuse the opportunity of engaging into combat with anyone or anything that is stronger than you. You also always volunteer and perform tasks that have a risk attached to them when you are in a group. - Derangement/Insanity (-3):
Compulsions: he character insists on performing ritual actions, such as touching a doorway at left, right, and top before passing through it. Though she may agree that the actions are senseless, the need to perform them is overpowering. (Whenever touching something Pietro must maintain a sense of balance and touch it with the opposite side, meaning if he picked something up with his left hand he'd also have to touch it with his right hand to make things balanced. This also applies for the number of times touched as well, meaning if Pietro touched something with both his left and right side and then accidentally touched it again with his left he'd have to touch it again with his right.) - Harbinger of Ill Omen (-1): You seem to be cursed to forever bump into a specific person, time and time again. Each time you do, something bad happens not long afterward. This person in no way does this purposefully, it just happens with alarming frequency.
Explanation: You will have character assigned to you by roleplay department of staff who will enter you threads randomly from time to time. When this happens, staff will change the conditions of your thread against you. Such as heavy storm, avalanches or beasts catching onto your smell. - Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. (Pietro absolutely despises being badgered to do something. If you ask him to do something and he says he will that should be the end of it, he'll do it when he's good and ready. If someone were to constantly pester him to do something he already said he'd do they'd find themselves in quite a bad situation.)
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play. - Judgmental (-1): You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play. - Proud (-1): You don't like accepting help from others. If a gift or offer of aid smacks of charity or pity even the slightest bit, you grow indignant and refuse it.
- Reckless: (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
- Righteous: (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.
IV. MAGIC
Magic: Take Over - Mech Soul
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Man and machine are both separate entities, quite capable and powerful on their own. However, when the two are brought together into one body the result is a much more formidable being, something that demands fear or respect. To most it simply appears that a coating of machinery has formed over Pietro and he is controlling it from within, but in actuality he has become the mechanic monstrosity. He now stands at 7'9" and weighs a total of 270 lbs., being a dark blue with several lines of black extending from different parts of his body to his chest. His human features have mixed with his mechanic one's, allowing him to feel pain although he will not bleed, as well as being able to analyze and process like a machine while still maintaining human creativity.
Strengths: Man is capable of growing while machines are constantly improving, together they can improve and grow, they can adapt to survive.
- Enhanced Durability: Pietro's body is now made of a reinforced steel, making it more difficult for him to sustain injury. Also, now that he is incapable of bleeding in this form there is no worry of passing out due to blood loss.
- Enhanced Physical Prowess: Steel and muscle meld together to increase the damage capabilities of Pietro's physical attacks as well as increasing his running speed and the height at which he can jump.
- Enhanced Senses: Combining human senses with that of machinery Pietro receives a boost to his sight as well as his hearing, allowing him to see and hear things from a greater distance.
- Living Arsenal: Pietro has a wide variety of weapons at his disposal, being able to generate blades and other weaponry from his body as well as even firing beams, explosives, bullets, and other such things.
Weaknesses: Although powerful and being capable of so much, no being is unbeatable, there is no such thing as perfection.
- Return To Humanity: At some point Pietro must return to his human form where he retains whatever injuries he sustained in his Take Over. However, now he is fully capable of bleeding, meaning his wounds will begin to bleed at an accelerated rate, which will cause him to pass out and possibly bleed to death if he doesn't receive medical attention quickly.
- Fully Offensive: As a weapon Pietro is capable of trying to block an attack such as with a sword (although he'd rather rush it head on and try to overpower it), but he is incapable of forming any sort of defense such as walls or shields to protect himself.
V. HISTORY
History:
- Spoiler:
- Pietro's story starts on a stormy night, filled with dark clouds and harsh pouring rains with the only source of light coming from the occasional crackle of lightning dancing through the sky. His parents had no way of making it to a hospital, but luckily enough for them they were able to get a doctor to make it to their home. The birthing process began and after long and arduous work Pietro was born, but not without the fear of his mother being unable to survive. Luckily enough she managed to pull through, Pietro would be raised by a loving mother and father, at least for now. Once this whole ordeal was taken care of everything seemed to return to normal, most people would consider the harsh conditions during Pietro's birth to be an omen, but his parents paid no mind to it, they loved him more than anything. From a very young age Pietro seemed to be a very calm and relaxed child, he didn't cry much as a baby and he never did anything like yelling or running around and causing trouble like most children loved to do. His parents worried something might be wrong with him but the doctors all assured them that he was fine, he simply had a very calm nature to him. Even at such a young age he barely showed any emotion, always keeping an eternal blank stare that some people would say had a certain emptiness to it. Plain and simple Pietro just didn't feel anything.
Skipping ahead a few years Pietro's parents started worrying about him again, he still acted the same and that was a bit problematic when it came to making friends. All the kids wanted nothing to do with him really, they either thought he was weird or scary and for the most part were afraid to even get near him. This of course didn't bother Pietro, he never really cared about making friends or even spending time with other people for that matter, he preferred solitude along with the peace and quiet that came with it. Even though he hadn't been through schooling for all that long it was clear he was smart, probably smarter than any of the other kids around him, with nothing but free time on his hands Pietro was able to read and learn anything and everything. He wasn't sure exactly what he could do with the information he was stockpiling, but it didn't hurt to be knowledgeable, it certainly was much better than being a fool.
A couple of years went by and it was clear that Pietro was going to spend the entirety of his life alone, especially if he had any say in the matter. Nobody wanted to have anything to do with him, anyone who tried to be kind to him was met with a polite "go away" or "leave me alone" and anyone who thought they were big enough to try him faced serious consequences. He was only eleven years old and already he had sent several others boys to the hospital for either breaking something or causing such severe pain that they passed out and required medical attention to be revived. People were saying he was dangerous, a threat to the safety of the other townsfolk and their way of life. Still his parents defended him, saying that it must have been the fault of the one's who picked on him, which of course was true, in all his fights Pietro had never once been the person to hit first, he would always try to send people away but when they refused and attacked he would retaliate full force. Even though it seemed that everyone had calmed down about him secretly they had to think of a way to take care of Pietro, if things continued the way they had been someone would get seriously injured or worse, and there would be no coming back from that. The only thing he really wanted was to be left alone, there was no point in having something to do with other people, they were nothing but a nuisance to him anyway.
A few more years had gone by and things had escalated to the point of no return, Pietro hadn't killed anyone but he'd severely injured people on several occasions and quite frankly the town and everyone in it minus his parents had grown tired of it. The townsfolk had come up with a plan for getting rid of him, they decided they would simple kidnap him and sell him off to some bandits, whatever fate befell him didn't matter, he'd get exactly what he deserved in their eyes. In the dead of night a few people broke into his home and abducted him, his parents tried to beg and plead but it was pointless, their minds had been made up. Not wanting to lose their only child his parents tried to fight back, but they were only met with more force than they could handle. Pietro was able to catch a glimpse of his parents in their final moments, they absolutely refused to let him go without a fight and paid the ultimate price, they were killed in cold blood. Most kids would break upon seeing such a sight, being consumed by hate and anger they might swear revenge on the people who took their parents lives. Pietro wasn't most kids however, he made a silent promise that if he ever came back here he would wipe out everyone, but not for his parents sake, he didn't care about them, he would do it for his own sake. Anyone who dared to treat him in such a way deserved nothing more than death, now whether it would be quick and painless or a slow and gruesome death he was unsure of, but he'd come to a decision sooner or later.
Pietro was sold off to some bandits and quickly changed hands several times, finally ending up with a particularly ruthless bunch. They treated him as less than human and put him through various kinds of punishment and torture almost on a daily basis. He was beaten, scourged, cut, and even just flat out stabbed more times than he could ever hope to count. The pain was excruciating but not once did he ever show any sign of it, he refused to give them the satisfaction, instead he used it to fuel his hatred for the one's putting him through this hell and the people that delivered him to this point in the first place. When Pietro wasn't being abused he would be forced to work, stealing and killing and doing whatever else he was ordered to do. The better work he did the less he would be punished, but he would never be able to fully escape it. It was difficult but he carried on all the same, he had decided that he wasn't going to just lay down and die, he would continue to live and become something great. It didn't matter to him whether he was loved or feared although he enjoyed more the sound of the latter, he would rise to the point where his name would be remembered. This became Pietro's every day life for roughly two and a half years, and although he didn't enjoy it he could have been dead, so he was at least grateful to still be alive. At one point he managed to come across something interesting, it was simply a small toy that had been crafted but it was very finely made. It was a figurine of a battle robot, but although it was mechanical it still had similarities to that of humans, it was like the perfect deadly blend of man and machine. Such a thing was practically unheard of, it didn't exist because it was basically impossible, this fascinated Pietro. He kept the figurine with him at just about all times, it was the one thing he was allowed to keep. Several weeks later Pietro accidentally overheard that the bandits had grown tired of using him, so they were just going to flat out kill him. Attempting to make a run for it he was caught and punished more severely then he had been in the past, unfortunately for him this would be the last time, they intended to kill him right then and there. This was unacceptable, Pietro had not accomplished anything really, there was no way he could just die here. Making one last fight for his life something insane happened, the magic power that had been untapped but always within him had awoken. One moment he was just a teenage boy and the next he was a killing machine, he had become a living weapon, just like the figurine he always carried around with him. In the spur of the moment he took advantage of the confusion and attacked, slaughtering all the bandits, some died quickly while others were put through intense suffering and were left to die on their own. Returning to his original form Pietro was pleased with himself, he had unlocked an amazing power and he intended to use it to it's fullest capabilities.
Now that he was a free man Pietro decided it was time to head back to his old home, he would exact his revenge upon the people who had put him through so much suffering, and at the same time he would thank them for without their help he wouldn't possess such incredible power. It took a few weeks to make it back but once he made it to his town he quickly got to work, transforming into his machine form he set off to annihilate everything in his sight. The night was filled with screams of terror and the roar of flames that quickly overtook everything, but loudest of all was the warcry of something much more than just man or machine. With nothing left in his wake Pietro was finally alone, but he wasn't a fool, he knew full well that because of his actions if someone ever found out he would be killed arrested and executed. It was time to take to the shadows and hide. Not very long after this he stumbled across the guild Phantom Lord, and without a place to go he decided this would do. Joining the guild it became apparent that he had found himself in a place with people possessing similar interests, that would hopefully make it easy for them to leave him alone. He took part in jobs and acted as any other guild member would act, for the most part this place was his home and it had been that way for a year. He couldn't exactly say he liked the people here but at the same time there was no ill will or bad blood, he treated them with the respect he believed they deserved and simply asked for the same treatment in return. Pietro shared the belief that Phantom Lord was one of the best guilds around if not the best, and one day he would reach the point where the whole world would know and remember his name.
