II. APPEARANCE

General Appearance: Alice always has an air of elegance to her, even when doing not so elegant things, which she does often. She usually keeps her long black hair in two long twin tails. Her right eye is red tinted while her left eye appears as gold. Alice is known to get stares for her two different colored eyes, but she never lets it get to her, though she does cover her gold eye with her bangs if she is trying to avoid being noticed and captured by the rune knights. Alice usually wears a dress made out of crimson and black frills, giving her the appearance of an elegant Gothic lolita with her hair in uneven pig tails. On her head she usually wears a big crimson net bow, holding her hair up. She also wears a crimson and black collar on her neck and wears a pair of black pantyhose, and completes the look with long black boots. She is also known to wear an all black Gothic dress with her hair in two even twin tails if just going about her normal day, or trying to hide herself from others so she isn't recognized.
Extra: Alice has a dragon claw scar that runs from her wrist to slightly above her elbow on her left arm, but it is usually hidden by her frilled arm black arm warmers that are laced with red ribbon, that extend from her wrist to her shoulder, allowing only a small part of it to edge out to be seen, it can also be covered by her long sleeved all black dress.
III. PERSONALITY
Personality: Alice is usually calm, taciturn, level-headed, and analytical, preferring to not engage in combat: she is content with silently observing both parties until the fighting reaches its conclusion. She has a strong grasp over her emotions, so much so that no one can ever tell how she is actually feeling or thinking, or pretending to portray a certain emotion to throw others off her real emotions. She is highly perceptive however, able to see through a person's demeanor to determine what they are thinking about. She has put on a fake facade for a year of being just a simply nice and polite girl when her real personality is far different from that.
Alice's true personality is known to be incredibly lazy and sarcastic attitude. Alice's bluntness and dry sarcasm comes from the fact that she does not really care how people react to what she says or what they think about her, as she hates almost everyone and does not trust anyone nearly instinctively. She sometimes suffers from extreme cases of paranoia, which can lead to her thinking everyone around her is planning on attacking her, or has done something to her that requires justice. In these cases she can fly into extreme rages, attempting to maim, kill, or avenge others, believing them to be causes of some kind of pain to her, or to be sinners in need reckoning for something that they may not have even done, or something completely out of their control.
Alice enjoys playing with people. She loves to get a reaction out of people, and is not afraid to freak others our make them unconformable. She is also very manipulative, frequently toying with people, and using her body to get what she wants. She is numb to the judgement of others to the point that if needed, she could walk around naked if just to throw others off. She is very understanding of others, even if they are deemed insane she can usually understand the motive for why people do things, though it is hard others to understand her. She has learned to act out and portray emotions to further her playing, she can cry on command one second, and then become happy the next. She will do what it takes to get what she wants no matter the cost whether it be through torture, seduction, aggression, or any other means.
Alice, though appearing clam is actually quite sadistic, and masochistic, growing more and more excited as she fights. She will kill without remorse, and killing with no sympathy. She loves to the feel of others blood on her, it gives her a rush, and she takes pleasure in torture, and pain not only by dealing it to others, but by also receiving it. Her brain is racked with sadistic impulses forcing her mind to grown accustomed to the grotesque and strange so much so that nothing ever really phases her. She is known to play with her opponents relishing in the battle and pain that she dishes out and receives, sometimes allowing her opponents to strike her just to continue the battle and feel the sweet sting of pain. She is known to leave her opponents alive, sometimes she will even beg or coach others into attacking her, or 'imprison" them with spells in order for them to continue to feel her torture, and continue to play with them for as long as possible before showering in their blood to achieve a true ecstasy. She is a fan of tentacle torture, but also enjoys using humiliation to torture others, whether it be through sexual means or others.

Motivations: Alice is motivated by many things in her life. She is motivated to seek a world without lies after being lied to her whole life by the people she thought she could trust the most. She wishes to make sure others don't have to go through what she went through. She is also motivated to spread her way of thinking, basically her love equal pain mentality. She is also motivated to master the shadow dragon slayer magic, and live up to the expectations her dragon mother gave her. She is also motivated to not be captured by the rune knights and play out her fake facade for as long as possible.

Negative Traits: Allergies (-1): You are afflicted with allergies. These may be something as simple as hay fever, but the reactions to such will result in something like a huge bout of sneezing and gasping. You must mention this allergy in your character application. Alice is allergic to seafood, she can touch, but if she even licks fish, she will begin to get hives all over her body.
Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
Cruel (-1): You have a sadistic streak that causes you to perform acts of cruelty for no good reason. Of course, this doesn't endear you to others. Most times you are prudent enough to carry out your cruelties on those under your thumb, rather than those you see as equals. However, you carry a constant social stigma, as rumors have their way of getting around.
Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.
Dark Secret (-3 because she has 3): You have some sort of secret that, if revealed, would make you an outcast amongst your society and companions. While this secret is on your mind at all times, it will come up in topics only once in a while, but when it does, watch out! [She ate her twin in the womb, killed her father, and is a criminal]
Derangement/Insanity (-6): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
Bipolar Mood Disorder: The character oscillates between the mood states mentioned above, sometimes staying in one mood for weeks at a time, sometimes rapidly switching from one to another. Also known as manic depressive.
Phobia: A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus. (Mother figures, especially those who look like her mother)
Disfigurement (-2): A hideous disfigurement makes you ugly and easy to notice and easy to remember. Whatever your particular choice of disfigurement, it has to be something blatantly obvious to a casual glance. In addition, as it is a birth deformity, it cannot be healed, though you could employ magics to cover it via illusions in some instances, and perhaps utilize high level magics to transform yourself into a more pleasing form for the duration, though you'll always have the lingering fear of it being dispelled. Two different colored eyes, dragon claw scar.
Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
Harbinger of Ill Omen (-1): You seem to be cursed to forever bump into a specific person, time and time again. Each time you do, something bad happens not long afterward. This person in no way does this purposefully, it just happens with alarming frequency.
Explanation: You will have character assigned to you by roleplay department of staff who will enter you threads randomly from time to time. When this happens, staff will change the conditions of your thread against you. Such as heavy storm, avalanches or beasts catching onto your smell.
Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed. [Liars, or mother figures]
Lazy (-1): You will never do any more work than is absolutely necessary. You will rely on your companions to do things such as build campfires, cook, and keep watch throughout the night. Generally, you will neglect details of preparedness in order to grab a few extra minutes of sleep. Failure indicates that you think the time would be better spent napping or laying under the shade.
Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed
Short Attention Span (-1): You have little patience, causing you to have difficulty concentrating on repetitive tasks.
Righteous (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.
Branded (-2): You have fled for a crime committed and now have a prominent brand. You may have been a criminal, a slave, or some other such illicit individual. The brand is such that it cannot be easily covered, and a cursory search reveals it each time. Law enforcement agents of any lawful land will immediately take you into custody if they see the mark, for extradition or imprisonment. It is your choice as to whether or not you were falsely accused of the crime. [Brand is located on her right shoulder.
IV. MAGIC
Magic: Shadow Dragon slayer Magic
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Allows the user's body to obtain attributes like that of a shadow dragon. Shadow Dragon Slayer magic is related to the dark element of magic. Allows the user not only the ability to take physiology of a shadow dragon, but also freely control and manipulate shadows.
Strengths: This magic allows the user to manipulate the shadows and the dark element using spells. Not many people know about the abilities of this magic, as it is incredibly rare like all dragon slayer magics. Someone with this magic is able to easily consuming the Dark element, and use it to keep themselves going and replenish their strength, this is because they convert the element to useable energy, much like how the human body converts food to energy, just sped up and enhanced a lot. The consumption of an element can also stave off hunger for Dragon Slayers, and allow them to keep fighting and tire out their opponents while remaining full of energy.
Weaknesses: Dark magic users are weak to light magic users, so any light mage can counter a Shadow Dragon Slayer in the means of elemental advantage, though they do not share this weakness with holy dragon slayer magic, being neutral to it. Dragon Slayers also get easily motion sick when it comes to transportation, meaning if an opponent can cause motion sickness the slayer will most likely puke everyone. Shadow Dragon Slayer magic is also very uniquely dangerous in the fact that if the user does not have control over themselves, they will lose control of their magic, and a dark alter ego can take over them.
V. HISTORY
History: Are we born killers, or do we become it based on our lives? Alice was born almost completely normal, like any other baby. The only difference was she had two non matching eyes, one gold, and one red. Alice was meant to be born a twin as well but her twin never came. Her parents were told that her mother was holding twins and they were incredibly excited about it. Strangely when Alice was conceived she was the only one who came out. It would not be till later on that the doctors would be able to tell her parents that as a fetus Alice had devoured her would be twin in the womb, causing the strange mutation in her genes that gave her the two different colored eyes. Her parents were put off by this, but continued to care for Alice as lovingly as they could, while still holding small amounts of apprehension and fear in their faces that they hid, most of the time.
By age six Alice's parents knew that she was not normal. She had never cried as a baby, and was always so interdependent, preferring to play in the woods near their house by herself, than play with the other girls that lived near by. Alice's mother asked the other small girls that lived nearby why the never played with Alice, and they told her it was because Alice played differently from them, the girls showed Alice's mother the bruises they had received from
"playing" with Alice, one girl even had a broken arm. Alice's mother went to go find her in the small forest and give her a stern talking to about playing nice with the other girls, but when she found Alice she realized that Alice had many more problems that expected. A dead squirrel was clenched in her child's hand by the neck, its mouth open in a ghastly gasp as if breathing for air, blood painted her hands and dripped slightly from her face, all around her other carcases were discard, dad squirrels, dead birds, dead cats, even a dead raccoon here or there. 5 year old Alice simply looked up at her mother and smiled, "What's wrong mommy? Is it time for dinner already?" Her mother was completely appalled and dragged Alice back to the house, forcing her under the sink and nearly drowning her in cold water as she washed the blood off her child. Alice would kick and cry the whole time no understanding why her mother was punishing her, Alice's mother would be crying as well and eventually would stop, and throw a towel at Alice, allowing her to catch her breath and dry off. Alice's mother asked why she would kill all the animals, and a cold shivering Alice said ti was because her friend in the forest told her to play with them. Alice's mother knew Alice had no real friends so she guessed it was an imaginary one. Alice's mother sent her to bed and waited for her husband to return home from a quest he had been doing, as they were both gun magic wizards that belonged to the guild Fairy tail, but lived a little out of town as they were starting a family.
When Alice's father came home Alice's mother told him everything about what had happened and they began to talk and argue about what to do. Eventually her father suggested sending Alice away to another town where a friend of his lived that was a therapist, Alice's mother agreed and they planned to travel with Alice one town over the next day. Unknown to either them though, Alice had snuck out of her room upstairs and had heard everything from the top steps. Alice was very sad not only that her parents thought she was bad, but also because they were sending her away from her only friend who lived in the forest. That night Alice's friend spoke to her from the window and asked her what was wrong. Alice told her friend that her parents were gonna send her away cause they thought she needed help. Alice friend was very sad and begged her not to go. Alice did not know what to do that would make her able to stay, so her friend suggested a way that would stop her from leaving.
Alice knew where her parents kept their special guns they used for jobs and such in a cabinet in the kitchen, and, under her friends guidance, stole one shot gun, and one short handed pistol from the cabinet. She had seen her parents load and ready their guns a millions times so she loaded both and top toed to her parents bedroom. Her friend had told her to simply shoot both her parents in the leg so they wouldn't be able to move, and then have Alice run into the forest so that her friend could take care of her, but something went wrong with the plan. Alice had aimed the shotgun at her father's leg when all of a sudden her body took over and moved the gun up so that it aimed for her father's stomach, Alice popped the trigger and her father stomach was hit by the full blast of the shotgun, it was doubtful that he would have even been alive long enough to wake up and feel it. Her father's guts and blood sprayed everywhere, drenching the bed and walls, and drenching Alice and her mother who was ruddy awoken by the gun shot. Alice felt her body tingle as she was covered in blood, it felt weird, but good, like her whole body was a sugar high, her child like mind did not even register the fact that she had just killed her father until her mother awoke and screamed. Her mother charged at Alice to get the guns away from her, but Alice's body reactions were faster and without even thinking about it, Alice shot her mother once in each of her legs with the short handed pistol in her left hand. Alice's mother crumpled to the ground in front of her screaming and crying in pain, but also in sadness for her losing her father. She looked up at Alice and cursed her, asking why she would do this, and calling her a monster. Alice had been looking down at her blood covered hands, no understanding how her body had fired the shots without her thinking about it. She was brought back to reality when her mother started yelling at her though, cursing her and calling her a monster. Alice didn't fully understand why her mother was yelling at her, she had just wanted to stay in the forest with her friend. Alice began to cry as well, her own mother thought she was a monster, until her friend called for her through her parents window to come to the forest. Alice's mother also heard this voice, and realized it hadn't been an imaginary friend after all. She told Alice not to leave her, but Alice was already running out of the house, covered in blood, and still holding the two guns. Alice's mother yelled her name one more time, but Alice was gone, leaving her father's corpse, and her crippled mother behind.
Alice ran through the dark forest for what seemed like hours, following her friends voice as it lead her deeper and deeper, until she came to cave made completely odd dark rock, and with dark obsidian crystals jutting randomly all around it. Alice's friend told her to enter, and she hesitantly did. The inside of the cave was pitch black and Alice couldn't see anything, until a fire erupted and lit two torches on the walls of the cave. What greeted Alice would have made her scream if she had the energy to. A dragon. An all black dragon starred back at Alice like predator, she thought it was the end for her until the dragon spoke. The dragon had the same voice as her friend had, and Alice realized that the dragon had been the one talking to her all along. The dragon said its name was Ringjax and that it had been waiting to meet Alice face to face for some time. Alice took a gulp and asked what Ringjax was gonna do to her. Ringjax emitted a sound that was similar to a laugh, and said she only wanted to take care and raise Alice because she was lonely, and had enjoyed Alice's company so much in the forest. Alice, having no where to turn to, and also being completely emotionally shattered because her own true mother now hated her and thought she was a monster, decided that Rinjax would become her dragon mother, not believing anyone else would ever really love her after what she had done.
Ringjax loved Alice, well love is a strong word, Alice was her possession. Ringjax and Alice would travel all around, visiting various nests Ringjax had. RIngjax would use Alice to lure humans to her nest so she could devour and torture them, as Ringjax hated humans, well except for Alice. Ringjax would force Alice watch her torture and devour humans, she taught Alice how to torture others and inflict pain, and also how to "play with her food", which basically meant play with her victims. Using her shadow abilities Ringjax was able to perform millions of different types of torture techniques, from crucifixions, to disembowelments, as well as emotional based tortures as well. Alice was no immune to being tortured herself, as Ringjax would normally punish Alice for "telling lies" or "being bad" even if she had done nothing at all. Th first time Alice had been punished she had been tied with shadows and clawed at slowly by Rinjax for six hours, giving her the nest dragon claw scar on her left arm. Alice used to sob, cry, and beg all the time when she was punished, for a good two years at least, until one day when Alice turned 10 she began to grow numb to pain and feel something besides its, she began to feel excited, it made her feel alive, she realized that she was enjoying the punishments she received, the beatings, the cuttings, the emotional and physical degrading, it made her feel good for some reason. Her dragon mother told her she punished her because she loved Alice, and Alice now believed that to be true, punishment was love, pain was love, and Alice's dragon mother truly loved her very much.
From then on Alice never cried, or showed fear or disgust when watching Ringjax play with her food. Ringjax noticed the change in Alice and realized that Alice had finally began to understand her love. Ringjax decided that Alice was ready to be given the gift that all dragon's gave their students, the ability to use a special type of dragon slayer magic. At age 11 Alice became not only Ringjax's daughter but her student as well. Alice trained tirelessly to obtain the lost magic with her dragon mother, completely focused on living up to her mother's expectations. For the next two years it was all she did and by age 14 Alice had learned the art of shadow dragon slayer magic. Ringjax seeing Alice's improvement in the way of magic, decided to take it a step further and implanted shadow dragon lacrima into Alice in order to enhance her slayer abilities. Alice accepted the lacrima graciously and was awake the entire time it was implanted into her body.
During this time of training with Ringjax, Alice continued to lure humans away from their homes to become food for Ringjax, but eventually people began to recognize her, and she became known as the nightmare, as they did not know her real name, and people were calm and fine and first believing her to be only a girl, but ended up facing and be devoured by a dragon. The sketch of her was ruff, but they did capture her mismatched eye color making it easy to identify Alice. As time went on it became harder and harder for Alice to be used as bait to lure people to Ringjax, and a few times Alice had to fight off some rune nights that recognized her. Ringjax knew that sooner or later Alice would get arrested and imprisoned, so she did the only thing she could. At age 17 Ringjax abandoned Alice, and told her to seek out a guild to protect her, and give her a home. Alice felt completely betrayed, Ringjax said she would never leave her, and now Alice was once again alone in the world. Alice followed her dragon mother's last advice though, and found the guild known as Sabortooth in a nearby village. She took on anew look, covering her golden eye with her bangs and evening out her twin tails and waering them down. She wore a new all black dress instead of her usually outfit, and acted as politely and nice as she could fake. Alice tried out for the guild and was accepted becoming a D rank mage. She has now spent one year in the guild, mostly keeping to herself. She still misses her dragon mother greatly, and is growing tired of keeping up her fake facade of nice and politeness, who knows how long Alice will hold out before the shadows of her past are brought to the surface and found out by her guild.
