Name: The Thief King [3/3]
Requester: The Mayor of Magnolia
Request Difficulty: B
Location: Magnolia, Magnolia Theater
Requirements: The Thief King [2/3] Completed
Reward: 2000 EXP & 3000J
Request Roll: None
Story: For this request you are accompanied by two town guards, each of which carry C-Rank spears and shields. The mayor sends you off to Magnolia Theater along with the slip of paper you discovered at the campsite. The slip also detailed a secret entrance hidden by a bundle of straw and hay behind the theater. Once you move the objects away, you knock on the door. A small compartment opens up and a set of eyes asks for the password. If you accomplished another part of the last request, you know what the password is already. If you know it you are granted entry, if you don't, you can simply kick down the door and invade. The secret door leads down a hallway which opens up to an underground throne room filled with purses, pocketwatches and other stolen goods. There are four men (each about 7ft tall) lining the throne room and a man sitting in the center on a throne. He wears an odd black opera mask and is clearly an adult. He calls himself the Thief King and both you and the guards do battle with him and his men. The four brutes don't know magic and instead they use their fists, however the Thief King himself is a strong mage. Once subdued or persuaded, the mayor and the rest of his men come in and take the Thief King and his men into custody. You can do a dice roll to see if you can let them off the hook, but if you fail they're hauled off to jail right away. The Mayor pays you the final reward and leaves. The request chain ends here.
Extra Information:
The Four Guards: Dealing C-rank damage.
The Thief King: B-rank High Speed Magic and Shadow Magic.
