II. APPEARANCE

Height: 5'6"

Hair: Waist length long brown, straight hair.

General Appearance: Anei stands at an above average height of five foot 6 inches. Her frame is compact with an almost hidden wiry frame of strong muscles. Her irises are an eerie white with only the slightest hint of black rimming the outside of them. Her hair is a cascading waterfall of long, straight, light brown hair that reaches just past her waist. Her skin is a soft and glowing ivory white color which miraculously almost never burns even in constant contact with the sun.

Typically she wears a white battle dress that go just down to her knees and are splint on the sides from her waist down to allow for easy and quick movements. In addition all her clothes are open backed in design so she can easily give herself wings without ruining her clothes. Around her wrist and upper arm she wears ornate bracelets of gold matched with a necklace and belt as well which had previously belonged to her late mother.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Anei is a strong willed young woman who has been dealt a less than stellar life. Due to this she is mature beyond her years and while she wishes her life had gone differently she is still proud of with how she has coped with it. Her pride is the back bone of her personality and on principal she doesn't take charity and pays of her debts promptly. Alongside her pride she has an overzealous need to boldly speak her mind and state her opinions on things, and should someone try and change her opinion on something they soon realize they are trying to swim with lead weight on their legs.

She is also extremely compassionate and easy to get along with and is seen as a mother figure by many. She always has a shoulder free to cry on and an ear through which to listen with. She treats all her friends as if they were close family, and will protect them accordingly at all cost. Despite being a primarily extroverted personality she enjoys spending her time alone away from a lot of people especially at night time, where she can be found in her room reading or hanging out with Kaito.

Motivations: Anei is motivated to provide the best she can for her 15year old brother, Kaito Kurosawa. She has always been his protector growing up sense he was 5, and she was 13, when their father died on a high ranked mission. This was especially true these last 5 years that their mother had been fighting cancer, but even more so now that their mom has finally died, peacefully in her sleep, which has left her with the responsibility to of taking care of him full time.

This desire to provide for him to the best of her abilities has made Anei a bit ambitious. To the point that she is striving to not only become one of the best mages of Lamia Scale but rather the Guild Master seat someday.  This is not just because of her desire to provide for her brother though as it was also the same goal her father had before he died.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Light of Heaven (Holy Light Magic)
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: The user of this magic is one who has been infused with the light of heaven, very few people receive this gift. Once infused with the light the user gains as much of the endurance of an Angel as humanly possible. The magic itself is primarily supportive and is restricted to having only 1 offensive spell per rank. All other spells are in the form of holy light that heals, buffs, or defends selected targets (both self and allies).

Strengths: The user gains the ability to withstand great damage and still stand. This allows them to protect allies with both their bodies and their healing, buffing, and defensive spells for prolonged periods of time. It also potentially allows the user to physically out last opponents that are stronger them through sheer will and perseverance. Lastly as with all light magic it can defuse darkness, both magical and not.

Weaknesses: Its heavy restriction on only one offensive magic per rank makes it where a mage who uses this magic has a hard time in a solo fight against enemies. Also while the magic can passively pierce any type of darkness it can only provide dim light to an area of darkness created by a spell rank higher than the casted spell, and is unable to penetrate the darkness caused by any spell 2 ranks or higher than the casted spell.

V. HISTORY

History:   Anei grew up in Clover with her father, Ichiro Kurosawa, and mother, Haroko Kurosawa, and after 13 years of being an only child her baby brother, Kaito Kurosawa was born. From an early age it was discovered that Anei had unusually weak eyes that cause her to have night blindness and complete color blindness. Not wanting Anei to feel like her vision would hold her back her dad started teaching her from an early age to cope with her sight.

He did this by specifically training Anei to rely more on her other sense instead. He also started teaching her basic martial arts when she was 5 with the help of some of his friends from the guild, and when she turned 7 he started training her to fight in dark/dimly lit situations so she could defend herself even when she couldn’t really see her opponents.

Unfortunately this only lasted for another year because around the time she turned 8 her father died on a mission. It was then more so than ever that the guild embraced their family and helping them stay on their feet. Her training continued under the supervision of several guild mages, especially after she started showing potential as a takeover mage at 16 when she officially join Lamia Scale as a mage. Now at 23 three she is completely capable of fighting without sight, though her form and technique still need work, but a far from inadequate.

Unfortunately when she was 18 her mother was diagnosed with a cancer and Anei had to put most of her guild activities on hold to help take care of her mother and brother. As the years passed this became evermore so until the inevitable end came and her mother died. Now as a 23 year old woman Anei has to take on the role of mother on top of older sister and protector of Kaito. But once again the guild has been there for them and Kaito has been given a room across the hall from Anei in the guild dorms.

On top of that a fellow guild member, Aldo Salvatore, has agreed to help out with keeping an eye on Kaito when Anei has to go on a mission out of town. Feeling blessed even in this time of grief Anei has poured her whole self into her guild and training as she strive to be the best she can and then some to be there for everyone in the guild like have been there for her all her life.
