Effect: The caster holds a sword by the hilt and back of the blade, pointing the edge at the attacker. A large magic circle appears directly in front of the defending mage and absorbs either two D-Rank or one C-Rank attacks. Anything higher than C-Rank will hit normally and anything higher than B-Rank will crack the blade, requiring it to be repaired or replaced.

Element: Metal
Cooldown: Three Posts
Duration: Up to six posts
Effect: A small magic circle appears on the blade of a sword and remains while the spell is in effect. While the spell is active, the sword has a C-Rank damage buff.
