EFFECT: The user fabricates a small, 12cm cross shaped shuriken. The shuriken can either be thrown within a distance of no more than 5 meters, or may be used to stab at a target within arms reach. It leaves a small, shallow cut (D-Rank Impact) and disappears as damage is taken, as it is blocked by another spell, or in the scenario of throwing: if it misses and comes in contact with the ground, wall, or some other obstructing object.

EFFECT: The caster manipulates shadows to create a shield with a surface area of 2 square meters. The shield prevents up to 2 D or 1 C rank of damage.

EFFECT: The user becomes the center of a sphere of shadows with a 1 meter radius. The sphere prevents damage until it has been destroyed through an equivalent damage of 2 D-Rank spells or 1 C-Rank spell. Spells other than darkness in element cannot leave the sphere without first destroying it.
