Those who have met Yosuke can all agree that he is one of the most lonely, depressed people that you will ever know in your life. One who is simply just the most fragile person mentally, Yosuke will be set off emotionally by even the slightest events. He's prone to crying often.
Yosuke often tries to let people approach him, due to feelings the he is not good enough. But, when people do approach him, he is happier then can be, jumping in joy on the inside, and possibly even shedding a tear of happiness on the outside. To him, a show of affection is a lot compared to the way that his parents would neglect him. More than anything, Yosuke hates being alone, by himself.
He is very well mannered as well, having being raised in a rich family. He is trained in the way of socializing with Nobles. He is very polite in conversations with them. However, in conversations with others, he is a bit different. He will often be shy first, but will open up fairly fastly, and will be able to laugh and joke around, though timidly.
When it comes to romance, Yosuke is fairly shy and timid in this aspect. However, at the same time, he could be considered a hopeless romantic in many aspects. He often keeps a journal, and this can be detailed through several pages of his crushes on the maids in his home. He appreciates the sweet, strong, caring women over all, however.
One more aspect of Yosuke is that he will get attached fairly easy. This can be considered something negative. The reason due to this was due to the fact that he is often alone, and upon making even the slightest of a friendship he will cling to that person.

BACKSTORY
Yosuke was born into a rich family, one that was close to that of a noble status. It wasn't actually a noble family, but it was almost like it completely. From birth, Yosuke's parents wanted him to be the great successor of their family. They wanted a child that would be able to be perfect in every single way, which of course, not known to them, was impossible to any human being. Yosuke was raised by any tutors as he grew up, when he wasn't at his private school, he was at home, learning how to behave around nobles. It was his parent's dream to get him married to noble. It was their one desire.
However, life does not always go that way. Sometimes, things do not go as initially planned, and despite it seeming like it will all go perfectly.. it shatter all apart. That was what happened this day, the day that, on the age of 13, Yosuke would take his first attempt at running away.
Though he disliked the rain, he had no choice but to go and run. His parents didn't understand what kind of woman he wanted; he wanted someone kind and loving, like, perhaps one of his maid who looked after him so dearly. The girl he was going to be set up to married was mean, and just... rude. She was the exact opposite of what he wanted in a woman. However, he would then be stopped by a group of his father's bodyguards. They would explain to him how he was making a futile attempt, and how he should just give up, and accept his fate of marrying a girl he didn't love. Though Yosuke wasn't often the bravest, it was now that he would begin to take a stand. Only then would fighting commence, on in which Yosuke was bruised and beaten very badly.
The net morning, he woke up, wounded. His parents came in the room, and began screaming at him, as their "Dream child" had not successfully fulfilled their wants of them. They would yell at him for hours, earning him a fear of just yelling and screaming in general.
It was at this point in life he'd become depressed. He would stay that way for a whole 3 years, before he would decide that enough was enough. He'd head on back to his plan of running away. But this time, he did it in a more subtle time, one where they wouldn't have enough time to notice that he was gone. Running away, he'd go all the way to clover, where he would try and make a living off doing mage requests. He needed a guild however, and the guild he chose? Blue Pegasus. Swiftly becoming a member, he would make one goal; live life the way that he wanted to, without his parent's own greedy desires in the way.
