II. APPEARANCE

Height: 6'1

Hair: Blonde and always messy.

General Appearance: Jayce, is a very tall individual and with a fairly strong build. He does appear sort of skinny, but does still have a lot of strength in his muscles. He usually wears a black jacket and striped shirt, with some jeans. Sometimes, he may have a white hooded jacket on. Jayce always seems a little messy in his appearance, but still tries to keep himself looking good, his handsome appearance helps with that. He rarely even wears a white tuxedo. Jayce's hair is blonde in color and always messy. He never really takes care of it, but washing, but it always looks good. It is also very soft, due to him not damaging it in any way. He has a serious look on his face most of the time, but he likes to make a lot of different expressions. He has a very straight nose and small lips, but his eyes are quite big. Jayce's eyebrows are very small and thin. He has a tall neck though.  
Extra: Always wears a necklace with a feather attached to it around his neck.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Jayce is what you would call a free spirit. He doesn't seem to care what other think of him that much, as long as no one dislikes him. This makes him quite able to get along with anyone, except people he considers enemies. Jayce will never give mercy to anyone who falls to the foe category in his mind. He would more happily kill all of them, which he would do, if it didn't become an issue at times. Though he will hurt them quite badly, if the guy gets the chance to.

With his friends, Jayce will always be a happy and funny person. He is known to be quite random at times and have a slow mind. The guy doesn't pretend at all and is honest always, if there is something off, Jayce will always say it. There is no hiding anything with him.

Jayce, does have a more obnoxious side to him. The guy has the bad habit of flirting with women, more so than any other guy. He will especially flirt with women who flirt back to him. Even though his flirting is quite strange and odd, due to the slow mind of his. The flirting never really seems to work either.

Although, if Jayce were to ever find the special someone or gain some friends, that he viewed as best friends, the guy would do anything to protect them, even sacrifice himself.

Likes:

• Flirting: Flirting is a thing Jayce has fallen in love with doing, even though he is hopeless at it.
  
• Snakes: The love for this creatures is very strange in Jayce. He seems to like them ridiculously much.
  
• Friends: Jayce has always valued the friends he makes very highly and seems to do so still.
  
• Katanas: Jayce has a passionate love and interest in these weapons, these magical swords, that he himself wields as well. The love is even stronger towards his own weapons.
  

Dislikes:

• Insects: All kinds of small bugs or anything like them. They just feel disgusting to Jayce, as they are just so strange.
  
• Mindless Killing: Jayce dislikes mindless killing, killing for no reason or just for fun. It doesn't make sense to him, as to why this happens.
  
• Milk: Jayce dislikes the taste of it and just the idea of milk, makes the guy kinda feel sick. He can't even imagine drinking it.
  
• Money: Jayce hates dealing with money or earning it, he doesn't see a huge point in it, only really to buy food or a new katana, nothing else.
  

Motivations: Jayce is driven forward by mostly nothing. His only real motivation is to protect his loved ones, but if he doesn't have any, not a lot of motivation comes from the guy. His secondary motivation would be to become the greatest requip mage in Fiore, but that for Jayce, is only a small idea, but it does create a small drive.
Fears:

• Spiders: Spiders to Jayce are horrible, a total phobia. He can't stand even thinking or talking about spiders. Seeing one would probably make his faint and Jayce would run away wailing if he got touched by a spider.
  
• Heights: Not a bad fear, but heights make Jayce feel queasy and very nervous. He doesn't show fear, but it's certain he fears heights.  
  

Positive Traits:

• Acrobatic (+3): You have excellent body awareness and coordination.
  Explanation: Character can perform flashy moves such as back flips, cartwheels and various other moves when dodging an attack.
  
• Blindsight (+4): Using senses such as acute hearing and sensitivity to vibrations, you detect the location of opponents who are no more than five feet away from you. Darkness and Invisibility are irrelevant, though you cannot detect non corporeal beings.

Negative Traits:

• Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
  Phobia: A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus. The fear of spiders.
  Explanation: Character is unable to face anything that has it's fear. If you're afraid of spiders and someone uses spider magic, you flee.
  
• Inattentive (-1): Your mind has a habit of drifting off at inopportune moments. It flits from one thought to the next so fast that you have trouble getting it to concentrate on the here and now. As such, you are particularly unaware of your surroundings.
  Explanation: You must drift off at least one out of five posts.
  
• Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
  Explanation: If fighting or RPing with someone of your sexual preference, you must act lecherous towards them once every three posts.
  
• Merciful (-1): For a villain, you have a terrible weakness--you don't like to hurt people. Given the choice, you'd rather exile your deposed brother to another country than do him in. Whether this is because you want him to live knowing that you beat him, or whether you just have a small soft spot down in your heart somewhere, the result is the same: your enemies keep coming back again and again.
  Explanation: You are unable to ever kill someone, NPC or otherwise. This means Requests that specifically request slaying a beast or person cannot be done by you.
  
• Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
  Explanation: You can never flee from a fight with someone who is stronger than you.
  
• Trusting (-2): You don't like to believe that other people are capable of misleading and lying to you. After all, people are basically good, right?
  Explanation: If someone lies, you automatically believe it.
  
• Talkative (-1): You have a problem keeping your plans to yourself. Your ideas are simply so clever that you tell them to other people, so that you can watch their astonishment creep across their faces just before they tell you just how smart you are. Your flaw gets you to reveal your plans or evil scheme to the wrong people. There's nothing to prevent you from dropping them into a deathtrap afterwards, but should they survive, then you've got problems.
  Explanation: You cannot keep a secret, and thus must announce the name of every one of your attacks.
  
• Bravado (-2): You are rash in combat, refusing to show weakness by falling back from your enemies' blows. You either face it and stop it, or get hit in the progress. In addition, you cannot fight defensively.
  Explanation: You can't create any defensive spells. Offensive spells are made to inflict damage while defensive spells do not inflict any damage at all and are made to prevent damage.
  
• Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.
  Explanation: You can't refuse the opportunity of engaging into combat with anyone or anything that is stronger than you. You also always volunteer and perform tasks that have a risk attached to them when you are in a group.
  

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Requip: Hyosanryu
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Hyosanryu works similar to any other requip type, though with some difference to it. Mainly the ability to only summon katana type weaponry and only seven weapons at max can be used. These all do have different elements to them. The elements being: Fire, Water, Wind, Shadows, Lightning, Poison and Light. Light being the strongest of the seven. Hyosanryu focuses on the strengths of these few weapons, combining them with the agility of the user, to create powerful attacks.

Hyosanryu's swords are all different colored katanas, sometimes the blades have different colors, sometimes the hilts. Or some of the swords may have some effects to them, like the Lightning sword having electricity moving through it's blade. The specialized spells for all swords, are colored fittingly to the element of the blade in question.

Strengths: Hyosanryu has 7 swords, all with different elements. Fire, Water, Wind, Shadows, Lightning, Poison and Light. The blades are capable of applying status effects with hits and channeling the user's magic through them, making the swords themselves able to cast spells. Hyosanryu is capable of boosting the speed of the user with some of the spells, especially the Wind and Lightning blade. The Fire and Shadow blades are mostly pure damage blades. Water and Poison blades are more limited in their usage. The Light blade is incredibly costly to use and does everything better than the other six katanas. The user, when he gets stronger, may be able to use multiple swords at once.
Weaknesses: Hyosanryu has multiple limits on it. Firstly, the user can only choose between the 7 katanas, no more can be made. Secondly, the user can only summon katanas, no other weapons or armor. Third, the user can only make offensive spells or buffing spells that make attacking easier. Due to this, the user can't take that many hits and must out damage their opponent, before taking too much damage. Although the magic may have real power behind it, the limitations it has in the form of weaponry are fairly high. Also, all the different swords are weak to a different element. Fire Katana being weak to water, Water Katana to Ice/Metal, Lightning Katana to Earth, Shadow Katana to Light/Lightning, Poison Katana to Metal/Water, Wind Katana to Fire and Light Katana to anything that is unholy or darkness.
V. HISTORY

History:
Jayce was born into a totally normal family. There were no mages in the family and both his parents worked in a bakery. He was the oldest child in the family, having two little sisters to care for, which he did. His days were spent working in the bakery and taking care of his two little sisters. It wasn't until he was 13, a dojo was built into his hometown. Thanks to the dojo, Jayce's life got increasingly more interesting. He signed up for the first course in the dojo and started learning how to fight and use weaponry.

Jayce showed incredible skill using katanas, capable of standing against the dojo's master even. Though he never was able to beat the old man, Jayce enjoyed every little fight he had with the man. Over the years Jayce spent in the dojo, training and learning, he had found out a skill he possessed, but no other in the dojo did. An ability to bring out a few special katanas. It was a form of requip, that was understood by everyone, but just being able to use two katanas, was a difference to the other forms of requip.

Due to this form of requip, the master of the dojo, focused on training Jayce by himself. It was to make sure, that Jayce was able to master the use of Katanas incredibly well. The training happened far away from Jayce's home village and took a full year of continuous work. All the training did pay off though and the young man achieved an amazing skill wielding Katanas. Though he was quite incompetent with weapons bigger or smaller than his preferred blades.

When Jayce returned to his village, he was faced with a horrid sight. It was all fully on fire, completely burning. He could smell burning bodies and hear the screams of people. Jayce made his way to the village, only to find most of the people dead, though thankfully, as he found out from a survivor later, his family had gotten out before the attack, thank to the people from the dojo.

But this only made Jayce stop for now, as the people who did this, would need to be punished at one point in his life, but he couldn't do it alone or at least not yet. He needed to join a guild, to become stronger and that's what he set off to do. Jayce gathered up his things and took a few year journey, that would take him to the guild he wanted to go to, but also through the longest route possible.
