II. APPEARANCE

Hair: Short straight hair that is black with a reddish tint to it, more spiky towards the bottoms

General Appearance: Marissa is fairly skinny and may seem frail, upon sight at least. She is pale, with only small batches of color in her face. Her body isnt fully developed yet, but is on its way there. What she wears is a black blouse and skirt, completed with her cloak that has a hood on it. Her appearance highly resembles that of Little Red Riding Hood, which is where she got her nickname from. Her accessories to her outfit are crossed pins holding her cloak to her body, and a silver belt that has a cross on it for a buckle. On that belt are little pockets, filled with various items. Her outfit is mainly various shades of black and red, even her shoes.
Extra: Her cloak-hood: This was a gift of her grandmother, she holds it dearly. She is rarely seen with it completely off and will flip if something happened to it.
III. PERSONALITY
Personality: Marissa is very distant, not liking people at all. She will, however, warm up to those she sees as her ally, but it would be hard to make friends for her because of her cold personality. She, despite being a mute still can project her coldness in expressions or her actions, and simply walks around looking down at the ground trying to make herself the least noticable person in the room or group, then upon someone walking up to her and talking she will give them a death-stare, looking at them with pure hatred and then will just walk right past them. She is also very heartless, not sparing mercy on anyone she deems her enemy, but she is not in fact cruel. She is mean and heartless, but she does have a soul. If someone does manage to make friends with her she will do all in her power to protect those people, not wanting them to get in any type of peril like her parents. Marissa does not like arrogant people, at all, and will give anyone the stare of death if she finds any trace if arrogance, friend, ally, enemy, random person or otherwise. However, despite her cold, heartless exterior the right person can turn her very nice.

Enhanced Strength (+3): Your character is slightly stronger than other characters when it comes to physical strength.
Explanation: You are capable of doing C Ranked damage with all melee attacks. This is not added to spells in any form.
Swift (+3): You are fleet of foot. When running, you move three times your normal speed.
Explanation: You have a passive C Rank speed buff at all times
Stealthy (+3): You are particularly good at avoiding notice. You could be sitting somewhere in a thread at a bar and people wouldn't even notice that you were there.
Explanation: You are able to blend into a crowd, and those entering threads cannot initiate conversation with you until you speak or state your presence in an obvious matter by doing something that draws the attention of others.

Negative Traits:
Allergies (-1): You are afflicted with allergies. These may be something as simple as hay fever, but the reactions to such will result in something like a huge bout of sneezing and gasping. You must mention this allergy in your character application.
Explanation: Whenever this allergy comes into play you must suffer the consequences. The allergy must be something that can actually come and not something strange and unique.

*Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
Explanation: You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good.
Bruise Easily (-2): Each time you take bludgeoning damage, including that from falls, you take more damage than any other person.
Explanation: You will take extra damage from bludgeoning damage, whether it was done through a spell or not. The damage received from bludgeoning damage is increased by one class if it's a spell.
Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.
*Dark Secret (-1): You have some sort of secret that, if revealed, would make you an outcast amongst your society and companions. While this secret is on your mind at all times, it will come up in topics only once in a while, but when it does, watch out!
Explanation: You must think about your dark secret at least one out of ten posts. When things that are relevant to the dark secret are brought up you can't stop thinking about it.

Derangement/Insanity (-3): Phobia: A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus.
Explanation: Character is unable to face anything that has it's fear. If you're afraid of spiders and someone uses spider magic, you flee. (Phobia: Claustrophobia)
Derangement/Insanity (-3): Depression: Symptoms of this illness include changes in appetite, weight gain or loss, too much or too little sleep, persistent feeling of tiredness or sluggishness, and feelings of worthlessness or guilt, leading in severe cases to hallucinations, delusions, stupor, or thoughts of suicide.
Explanation: You gain 10% less Jewel from Requests.
Fragility (-2): Due to a serious vitamin deficiency in your youth (or something similar), your bone structure is unnaturally weak, and you are overly thin.
Explanation: You will your bones easily when confronted with bludgeoning damage that is B or higher.
Misfortunate (-1): Lucky breaks are something that happen to other people. Your luck isn't terrible; you wouldn't have survived as long as you have if it were. It just isn't very good. Look at it this way: if you need some blind luck to get you out of a sticky situation, expect to be sticking around for a while.
Explanation: You cannot receive any bonus rewards from Requests.
Mute (-3): Your vocal apparatus does not function, and you cannot speak at all. You can communicate only through other means--typically writing or signing. This is due to a birth defect, and therefore cannot be healed by any means.
Explanation: You will never be unable to speak. Frankenstein cannot fix this.
Trusting (-2): You don't like to believe that other people are capable of misleading and lying to you. After all, people are basically good, right?
Explanation: If someone lies, you automatically believe it.
IV. MAGIC
Magic: Scarlet Magic
Caster or Holder: Holder
Description: Scarlet Magic is a magic based around Marissa using her unique scythe, appropriately named the Scarlet Rose, as a supply of magic to make spells based off of shadows and darkness. This also can be used as a source of ammunition for the scythe' s other form, a gun. This magic mainly uses those types of attacks based around shadows only, yet can be very powerful considering there is no light without shadow, and where there is shadow her magic exists.
Strengths:
*Dark element, being strong against light
*Shadow is generally very fast
*Has two weapons fused together, making fighting more versatile
*Can refill ammunition with magic
*Magic Can be used just about anywhere there is light
Weaknesses:
*Light is extremely powerful against shadow
*Reffillinh ammunition takes up mana
*Scythe must be held to generate magic
*Little to no ranged magic
V. HISTORY
History: Marissa grew up miserable, and that models why she is currently miserable. She was born to a very poor family, she didn't even eat everyday. Her parents seemed to hate her, despite her trying so hard to get their attention. She loved them no matter what happened. There was only one small light in her endless dark chasm-her grandmother. She loved, cared for, played and joked with with her happily. No one could deplete the love she had for her grandmother, but they could definitely take her grandmother from her. One day, in her small cottage in the woods her grandmother visited. Her parents distanced themselves from Marissa, as usual. But Marissa stuck near her grandmother, playing with her and making merry. She then heard the sound of someone burst through the door, and a person walked in wearing thick armor and weilding a giant battle axe. The man didn't seem to like anyone there, as he attempted to kill every one of the people in the room. Lucky for Marissa and her mother and father, they escaped with their lives. The same could not be said about her grandmother. She didnt even hear her screams of pain while outside the house, all she heard was an eerie silence, then saw the man burst through the doors again chasing after her and her parents. They, upon instinct ran out to the woods, dodging trees and bolting left and right repeatedly. This didn't stop the man, however. He whistled, and in an instant a pack of five demonic wolves came out from the woods, surrounding Marissa and her family. The wolves lunged at all three of them, one slashing Marissa to the ground, leaving her back scratched up and bleeding badly. Her mother wasn't as lucky as Marrissa, The wolves lunged at her, one slicing her chest, one bit her ankle, causing her to fall to the ground. Then one wolf bit her throat as the others that attacked her bit and tore out other various parts of her body, killing her in seconds. Marissa's father managed to fend off one of the wolves, only to be slashed in the leg by another. The demon wolves killed him the same way that they killed Marissa's mother, and then turned to go after her next. Suddenly, almost as if a miracle a blast of dark energy killed all five of the wolves, and sent Marissa back flying. She hit a tree, and became unconsious. She woke up the next morning in a house, she didnt know where she was and started exploring, only to find a witch, The witch said that the man that attacked her was still alive, and that they had to kill him for vengeance of her parents death. Marissa didn't know who this woman was, and simply just didnt know how to kill anyone. The witch simply said she would train her, and train she did. The unknown woman taught Marissa the dark arts, and gave her the scythe that she quickly learned how to use, The witch seemed impressed with Marissa's progress. Marissa was now an assassin, she would use all that she learned to find and confront the man that killed her parents, bidding a farewell to the strange witch, but promised she would see her again one day. She found the man after returning to the woods, lurking around her house. She had her hood up, hiding her face with her scythe drawn. She and the knight had a battle, but she prevailed as winner in the end. She stabbed him through the chest, using her many days of training's learning to use her dark power to steal the man's soul, putting it in her scythe, giving it a dark aura. She, after finally redeeming herself let herself wander around aimlessely, killing all of her enemies in her path with silence and no mercy, becoming a true assassin. As for the guild, she stumbled upon Crime Sorcière after seeing how anti-evil it was, joining it because it seemingly fit her. She doesn't like being in the guild however, and she always distances herself from everyone else and tries to be alone much as possible.
