II. APPEARANCE

General Appearance:

He is a little over five feet tall, and has a medium build. His hair is blood red and his eyes match. His not disguised  attire  features him wearing a forest green cloak-like jacket that is long sleeved, and has orange trim, simple tan slacks with a tint of green in them, and over that wears traveler's boots that go up to the bottom of his knees. He also has cloth wrappings on his wrists to his mid lower arm.

Extra: has a deck of cards, a double headed coin, and most of the time is in his disguise, voice changes when he has the mask on.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Joshua  a very roguish, casual, and carefree person. He's also very cunning, enough so that he can cheat without getting noticed.  He believes in luck more than ability, and is carefree about his job. He's also slightly flirtatious to girls. Despite his jovial and carefree attitude, Joshua is very loyal, genuinely kind, caring, calm, and composed in the battlefield, as portrayed in his conversation with his mother that he felt deep guilt over leaving her. He shows the most kindness to girls, though if he has to choose between loyalty and girls, he chooses loyalty.  He also seems to be fairly honest, even admitting to cheating sometimes.

When in his disguised form, he is mostly silent, while being serious and sometimes cruel when he talks. When adopting this persona and disguise, which is the one you will most likely see, he is the opposite of how he acts when near other Fairy Tail guild members or enemy mages. He is cruel, serious, straight the the point, and not really caring of who he hurts with his words. However when no Fairy Tail guild members and enemy mages, are around, he reverts back into his happy, care free, gambling self.

Explanation: You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good. [he cheated in gambling]
Bravado (-2): You are rash in combat, refusing to show weakness by falling back from your enemies' blows. You either face it and stop it, or get hit in the progress. In addition, you cannot fight defensively.
Explanation: You can't create any defensive spells. Offensive spells are made to inflict damage while defensive spells do not inflict any damage at all and are made to prevent damage.
Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.
Dependent (-3): You have a ward or charge that depends on you, usually a young child or elderly relative that needs you to provide for them and devote at least part of your time to them. Harbinger of Ill Omen (-1): You seem to be cursed to forever bump into a specific person, time and time again. Each time you do, something bad happens not long afterward. This person in no way does this purposefully, it just happens with alarming frequency.
Explanation: You will have character assigned to you by roleplay department of staff who will enter you threads randomly from time to time. When this happens, staff will change the conditions of your thread against you. Such as heavy storm, avalanches or beasts catching onto your smell. (normally is a guy he gambles with, then looses, then everything goes down hill)
Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
Colorblind (-2): Though this is a misconception, for roleplay purposes, you see everything in black, white, and shades of gray.
Explanation: You can't see colors. You can therefore never refer to colors in your roleplays and everything that requires you to see a color can't be done by you.
Branded (-2): You have fled for a crime committed and now have a prominent brand. You may have been a criminal, a slave, or some other such illicit individual. The brand is such that it cannot be easily covered, and a cursory search reveals it each time. Explanation: You have a visible sign on your body that can not be hidden. This sign reveals itself clearly when you are in the presence of Rune Knights which will allow them to freely arrest you. IV. MAGIC

Magic: Fire Sword Magic
Caster or Holder: Holder
Description:

A magic style which takes Sword Magic, and adds the element of fire to it. It is capable of all normal Sword Magic spells, and it's own custom fire ones. Fire can be used like normal fire magic, and can even extend off the blade.

Strengths:

+ Change the properties of the sword/s. must follow range rules.
+ Able to manipulate multiple swords at once depending on the spell. The swords basically vanish after 1 post and the max swords controlled increase depending on the rank(D= 8 C=10 B=12
A=14 S=16)
+ Able to manipulate Swords for supplementary uses likes domes and such depending on the spell.

Weaknesses:

- The swords can only be used for 1 action before vanishing so if you use it to strike then it vanishes after the strike. If you use it to block then it will vanish after the block etc.
- Fire can be beaten by water spells.
- Only his katana will stay if he is hit before a spell goes off, otherwise, the other swords disappear.

V. HISTORY

History: Born and raised in Magnolia, Joshua was born with a strange magic. He was a normal child, and until one day he got a toy sword, and a double sided coin. He later on developed a gambling obsession, do to gambling with his friends with their allowance. He also began playing with the sword alot, which led to him meeting his first actual girlfriend Mia. After literally years of having that sword, the age of 10 to be exact, he swung the sword in a pretend fight with Mia and then, out of nowhere, the sword grew 5 feet, stabbing his first true girlfriend through the chest, which was his seventeenth girlfriend, and one he actually loved, thus the true girlfriend part. This was a EXTREMELY strange feat, and this caused many people to suspect that some witch mother of a girl her flirted with, for even at 10 he flirted a lot, had cursed him.

Later on though, some unknown Fairy Tail mage revealed that this was his magic, though it was unknown how he learned to use it, or where he got it from. He was invited to Fairy Tail, to learn to control his magic. To this offer, he said to flip a coin, to see if he would join or not. The mage took out a coin, and flipped it, calling heads. It landed on heads, and then Joshua picked it up to find out it was a double headed coin, much like his. He made a comment towards the mage, who sighed and said it was worth a try. To this Joshua laughed and said for him to wait up, much to the mage’s confusion. Joshua laughed and explained, saying that he had a similar coin, and that backing, getting upset, or reacting in any negative way would be hypocritical, plus he never backed down from and bet, which is a habit that he still has in this current time.

He then joined, spending most of his time training rather than do missions. Eventually he learned to control his magic and how it functioned, and thought he was ready for his first mission. Taking a B-rank one, he came back, finally finishing a mission, and apparently did this flawlessly, no more than a few cuts and bruises on his body, much to his current girl friends relief. After much careful consideration, Joshua was ranked up to a B-rank mage, which he celebrated for days about. A few years later he met the requirements for A-rank mage, which resulted in more partying, for about a few weeks. On his first A-rank mission, he met a wolf named Okami, which helped him in combat and joined him, mind you after losing a game of poker, which for once was not Joshua’s idea, but in fact was Okami’s idea which made their bond even stronger, cause of Okami offering, the fact that he wasn't even miffed that he cheated. and the fact that he had beaten him even when he cheated..

On a later mission, he, Okami, and his current GF went on a mission, resulting in his GF's death. In shame, he adopted a new persona, do to never wanting to face his friends again. Okami claimed he had died on the mission, and only him and the leader know of Joshua's true identity. He came in as B-rank mage, who was transferred from another guild, though it was not stated. From then to the current date and time, he has been seen in the guild, being the serious, silent, and cruel being known as Diablo Blanco.
