Story: The Mayor has been recieving threatening letters that contain death threats towards him and thinks that he will be the target of an assassination soon. He wishes to hire you as a bodyguard of sorts. He is going to be making a public speech tomorrow on Oshibana's relationship with Eisenwald and thinks that the assassins will move in then. He would also like you to investigate to find out who wants him dead, but it is not neccessary. You have that day to gather as much information as you can about the assassination plot. The next day you will be at the Mayor's speech, when three mages and a gunman will appear out of the crowd. They will make a declaration that Oshibana must never side with Eisenwald and attack. Once you've taken care of the mages and the gunman the mayor will thank you for your efforts and give you your payment.

• Bronze Dice (500 words): By being questioned the secretary will state that she overheard the Mayor and his political opponent having a heated argument the other day, just before the letters started showing up. One of the mayor's servants will have stated that she saw a man matching the description of the mayor's political opponent having a discussion with four shady people a couple days ago while she was out on the town. And a paperboy outside the mayor's office will state that he definitely heard the Mayor's political opponent stating that Oshibana would be better off with the Mayor dead. If you give the Mayor enough evidence pointing that his political opponent is the orchestrator of the assassination attempt, he will give you a nice bonus.
