II. APPEARANCE

General Appearance: He possessed black hair which was tied in the end with a topknot. He also wore a simple khaki samurai gi and simple zōri sandals. As a zombie, Kyuuzou has several bandages covering part of his skull face. He has no eyes and no nose. He wears a samurai gi with intricate designs more detailed than his original garb. He also wore geta instead of the zōri sandals of his past life. He has a blue stomach band, but with a different design. He also wears a blue scarf that covers part of his mouth, and his sword at his side. His black hair was also replaced with white hair. It probably turned white with age while he was still alive.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: In life, Kyuuzou followed a strict personal philosophy centered around justice and honor. He strongly believed that saving a life was a debt that must be repaid by those with virtue, and that repaying this debt was the way of a true swordsman. To this end, he would occasionally follow the request of someone he owed almost blindly, even when it would otherwise contradict his other beliefs. He also believed that a battle should be measured by what was protected, rather than how much fame is gained.
As a swordsman, Kyuuzou had a peculiar habit. Whenever someone touched their sword sheath with his, even by accident, he would immediately take this action as a form of challenge for a duel to the death. This behavior stems from his belief that the sword is the swordsman. Despite his honorable intentions, this habit would get him into needless and bloody confrontations.
Even as a Zombie Kyuuzou hasnt lost his honorable ways but now tries to avoid conflict not wishing to bloody his sword any longer. He still loves to spar with others but hold back afraid he may kill them. Other than that he has kept his quirky and funny attitude with joking around and helping those around him. Even with the loss of his tastebuds/tongue he still loves to drink tea.

Motivations:

• One of Kyuuzous true goals is to undo the curse which keeps him alive so he can finally rest which actually leads to his second motivation to find a worthy opponent to end his unlife this is why he joined a guild in hopes of finding someone to kill him.
  

• His second motivation is to find a truly worthy opponent who can defeat him in combat. Such as another swordsman who still goes by the way of the sword anything less could be dishonorable to him. Even if he could find a opponent he wishes to test them and see if they have what it takes to end his unlife.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Blade of the Accursed

Description: This blade has been with Kyuuzou for his entire life and unlife. It seems to never age and carry a special power which absorbs all the skills of those he has slain in his past fights. It can even channel Kyuuzous chi energy into the blade to enforce it and make it cut objects as if they where butter.
Strengths: The unique strength of this blade is its ability to allow Kyuuzou to use the techniques of those he has defeated in the past and even channel his chi through the blade strengthening its durability and enhancing its cutting power. The techniques the blade uses isnt copying there magic but in a way stealing the primary technique of a swordsman he has defeated [such as training a new spell will be fighting a npc swordsman and defeating him]. The skills he knows now are whats left from his past the others were lost in the passage of time. Some techniques he knows are blade thrusts that do piercing damage or slashes that extend via the wind sending a wave of wind at his opponent.
Weaknesses: Since the blade cannot be used without being in Kyuuzous hands its powers are easily defeated by knocking the blade from his grasp making him useless in a fight. And being a sword is has very limited reach making it hard to fight from afar. The biggest weakness is Kyuuzous ineptability to use the blade he usually keeps it in its sheathe and fights with it making him seem like a passive man not wanting to fight anyone anymore.

V. HISTORY

History: To know of Kyuuzous past is to know of ancient times when the land was ruled by the sword and magic was just starting to blossom in the land. His life was that of a ordinary samurai who wandered the land as a ronin one who didnt serve a lord. He lived to help those around him and was very skilled with a sword and was considered the best swordsman at the time. This was proven on how he always seemed to challenge any swordsman who touched his blades sheath. This made a rumor spread to the other lands and lords that he was a undefeated samurai who needed no lord to carry out his sense of justice. This angered one of the lords who sent his best samurai to end this man but as with the many others they fell before his blade. Until this lord sought out a person who has claimed to master the dark magics and said he had a perfect way to handle this samurai.

It was on that fateful day Kyuuzou met this magician who played underhanded tricks to get his attention by setting fire to a village and killing most of the inhabitants. This angered Kyuuzou to draw his blade and attempt to end the magicians life but he was frozen in place by the mans cursed magic as he continued to chant a spell which surrounded and engulfed Kyuuzou in darkness. As the darkness faded Kyuuzou woke up to find the village nothing but ashes and the magician gone the words echoing though his head "With this curse you shall never find peace in death". The words were a enigma to Kyuuzou as years went by and more continued to challenge him until the day he was finally bested by another samurai who stabbed him through the heart. But what came next was something that made him understand the words of the magician as he didnt die from the stab which he woke up shortly after. His heart had stopped but he continued to live.

Years went by as Kyuuzous body began to rot away but still not dying from the passage of time. His black hair became white and his face became skeletal which he hid with a scarf and began to hide with bandages. Those who he knew or loved died long ago even the magician he sought to help break the curse died in his hands as he revealed the only way to break the curse was to be bested in honorable combat with a good friend. Which was hard for someone to make friends with a face like his now. He began to wander the lands watching as the way of the sword died off making even harder to find one to best him in combat which many of had tried but just fell before his blade like all the others. With the passing of time Kyuuzou became more seclusive and hopeless on breaking his curse even to the point of not wanting to kill another with his sword. In this new era those who know of him call him the cursed swordsman a being destined to never die but to only live in forever suffering. Kyuuzou just now wanders these lands waiting to find one worthy to beat him which will be the only time he would unsheathe his sword.
