Ok, this is the right thread.
Fave character is Gajeel. Why? He got emotional cause he was the only DS without a cat. On top of that he's a badass who not only blindly destroys shit like in the true nature of Fairy Tail but also thinks things through first unlike a certain other DS *cough*Salamander*cough*. He works directly for the Master as a spy and he even did a complete 180 in terms of attitude and tried to repent for what he did to Fairy Tail while he was a member of Phantom Lord. The man went from beating the crap out of Levy and binding her to a tree to acting as a lightning rod to protect her at the cost of his own body. And if that's not enough of a reason, while Natsu gets all of the power boosts handed to him Gajeel actually works for his. From what we know he can't use dragon force but he managed to eat Rogue's magic and take on a double mode like Natsu.
Gajeel is possibly the character who's gotten the most character development since his introduction without even being one of the main characters.
